Command validation tool
cmdok checks that specified commands are OK. If command is OK than it exists in PATH and can be run. It is a simple, small and portable Bash script. It is useful in software packages that want to check that some commands exist before trying to run them. See wiki for more information and examples.

A Hybrid Drive (SSD + HDD) for Linux
HYBRID is a tiered cache module running in Linux. In other words, It is a hybrid storage that consists of SSD and HDD. It makes SSD a fully durable and persistent read/write cache. It guarantees persistency and consistency of dirty data even at a crash or a power failure using general SSDs. It quickly recovers the flash cache without any data loss. It is implemented as a Linux kernel module. (tested under Linux kernel 2.6.35 and 3.19.8) The evaluation was performed with real desktop workloads, showed it outperforms another flash cache by 50%. It is optimal for VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) applications. But it may be applied to many other applications. BSD License
It is a shell library to import other shell scripts as libraries.
As a library we consider a simple shell script containing function and/or variable definitions. Libinclude offers you the possibility to use those kind of libraries in a comfortable manner. The usage is very close to the syntax of python's import statement. Functions (FUNC) and variables (VAR) in a library (MYLIB) can be simply included, but also imported in their own namespace (MYLIB_VAR, MYLIB_FUNC). It also provides the import MYLIB as ALIAS and the from MYLIB import FUNC statement, like in python. To ensure the usability of the libraries across different OS and/or software configurations, libinclude provides some features to be utilized in the libraries. One can define dependencies with 3ed party programs, which will be checked while importing and returns a meaningful error message if not met. To adopt the library to different environments, conditional comments provide the possibility to include code blocks depending on defined conditions, or run code on file inclusion.
track log files, block intrusions, and much more
Log2table allows you to continuously monitor your logfiles. You can trigger actions when a specific message comes in your audited logfiles or when a specific number of occurences are present.
Lograte performs analysis of logging in your desired setup
Lograte performs analysis of logging in your desired setup i.e production/development. This is required to check before a push on the logging setup in the project/product. Helps one identify any false or unwanted logging. Also helps in identifying issues or a broken common logging setup. This project is used to analyse source code in c/c++/objective-c/python/java and perl setups. The moto used in the project is analyse the source code using parsers and meta tags to provide a coverage of the logging mechanism. The moto is also analyse your logging mechanism used with your project in an automated manner.
Reads a PostgreSQL database log file, extracts the SQL statements and executes them in the same order and timing against another database server. Useful for performance tests with real-world workload.
A tool to backup and restore data

The most up-to-date OS that uses the latest stable kernel
xer0conf is the most up-to-date OS that uses the latest stable kernel and is Ubuntu at heart. On top of it, a very carefully selected apps, window manager, panel and other components have been included to ensure maximum performance and less or no cluttered applications bundled in this. While the choice of packages may differ from one person to another, you are free to add/install any other package that you wish to and/or remove an existing application that is pre-installed and configured with this compilation. The sole purpose of customizing this OS was to cut down the time, effort, hassle and hustle to re-install and re-configure the applications, utilities, updates etc, and so that once the OS is installed there is no need to configure any extra parameter and needs zero configuration. That's why the name xer0conf You could transform it into a full blown gaming console or a centralized media center or a development platform or virtually a study lab for IT certifications
