BoldSoap Framework (BSF) is a lightweight Web Services integration framework based on the idea of Dependency Injection and AOP. Instead of transforming XML like MS-BizTalk or IBM WBISF, BSF uses AOP weaving based on WSDL to create dynamic call.
The vmmagic project defines a set of extensions to the Java language to facilitate systems programming in Java by adding direct memory operations etc. These extensions require direct support from the JIT compiler (or interpreter) of the JVM.

Users of WS-PGRADE define their applications as workflows. They can share their applications using its internal repository solution. Hence users can import, parameterize and execute workflows developed by others. Using this idea, Application Specific Module (ASM) offers a Java API for all of these functionalities to develop Application Specific Portlets fitting to the end-users' needs and hiding all the complex mechanisms of the underlying system. It enables robust and complex parallel processing on computer cluster infrastructure and allows for reliable storage of primary and resulting data sets.
Accurately predicts disease association of single nucleotide mutations
GESPA (GEnomic Single nucleotide Polymorphism Analyzer) is a bioinformatics tool for classifying Nonsynonymous Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (nsSNPs). GESPA predicts if a nsSNP is pathogenic using reports from literature and various algorithms to assess conservation in orthologous and paralogous protein alignments. Using reports from literature, GESPA is also able to predict the phenotype of a nsSNP with high accuracy. The software can be used clinically to determine if observed nsSNPs are associated with disease. A host of annotations are provided: orthologous and paralogous multiple sequence alignments, UCSC annotations, reports detailing conservation of a nsSNP in alignments, and links to external nsSNP and gene information such as relevant publications. GESPA is connected to a constantly updating SQL server allowing for fast data retrieval. NOTE: REQUIRES Java 1.7.0+. Port 1433 cannot be blocked by firewall, network, or antivirus program. Graphical pan-genome analysis with suffix skips
With the rise of improved sequencing technologies, genomics is expanding from a single reference per species paradigm into a more comprehensive pan-genome approach with multiple individuals represented and analyzed together. Here we introduce a novel O(n log n) time and space algorithm called splitMEM, that directly constructs the compressed de Bruijn graph for a pan-genome of total length n. To achieve this time complexity, we augment the suffix tree with suffix skips, a new construct that allows us to traverse several suffix links in constant time, and use them to efficiently decompose maximal exact matches (MEMs) during a suffix tree traversal.
