At the Moment: Simple script to read and handle data in the RIS file format. The script converts data in RIS format to bibliographic records. Currently it supports only the RIS types 'BOOK', 'CHAP' and 'JOUR'. It's more of a demonstrator.

pyELib is a free open source system to create and manage any collection of eBooks. Unlike other eBooks management softwares, pyELib doesn't need the user to input neither titles nor ISBNs, since it automatically analyzes the files and searches for details on the internet. Dupes and different editions are properly handled. Each book is then automatically associated to one or more category (through machine learning) and, if desired, renamed. The library is stored in a MySQL database and comes with an interface for easier management.

swiginac is a Python interface to the GiNaC (GiNaC is not a CAS) C++ library, built with SWIG. The aim of swiginac is to make all the functionality of GiNaC accessible from Python.

The SLiCproject is the manuscript map for the original rendition of an information classification system designed with the intention of meeting a standard of scientific ordering of all of human knowledge. The system is designated, "Secular Library Classification." The mind maps downloads are currently in .mm format for Freeplane and Freemind applications. Other media forms are expected pending further development, and distribution necessities. The downloads are not completely open-source. Think of the downloads as being free books, but the contents there of are of copyright.
