    JC

    JC

    CLI tool and python library

...This allows piping of output to tools like jq and simplifying automation scripts. jc JSONifies the output of many CLI tools and file types for easier parsing in scripts. This allows further command-line processing of output with tools like jq or jello by piping commands. The JC parsers can also be used as python modules. In this case, the output will be a python dictionary, or a list of dictionaries, instead of JSON. Two representations of the data are available. The default representation uses a strict schema per parser and converts known numbers to int/float JSON values. Certain known values of None are converted to JSON null, known boolean values are converted, and, in some cases, additional semantic context fields are added.

    sharp

    sharp

High performance Node.js image processing module

The typical use case for this high speed Node.js module is to convert large images in common formats to smaller, web-friendly JPEG, PNG, AVIF and WebP images of varying dimensions. Resizing an image is typically 4x-5x faster than using the quickest ImageMagick and GraphicsMagick settings due to its use of libvips. Colour spaces, embedded ICC profiles and alpha transparency channels are all handled correctly.

    clj-http

    clj-http

An idiomatic clojure http client wrapping the apache client

...If the :unexceptional-status option is provided, then its value is a function that specifies what status codes are unexceptional. Rather than forcing all request headers to be lowercase strings, clj-http allows strings or keywords of any case. Keywords will be transformed into their canonical representation, so the :content-md5 header will be sent to the server as “Content-MD5”, for instance. String keys in request headers, however, will be sent to the server with their casing unchanged.

    py2many

    py2many

Transpiler of Python to many other languages

...Writing security-sensitive code in a low-level language like C is error-prone and could lead to privilege escalation. Specialized languages such as wuffs exist to address this use case. py2many can be a more general-purpose solution to the problem where you can verify the source via unit tests before you transpile. Swift and Kotlin dominate the mobile app development workflow. However, there is no one solution that works well for lower level libraries where there is desire to share code between platforms. Kotlin Mobile Multiplatform (KMM) is a player in this place, but it hasn't really caught on. py2many provides an alternative.

    visx

    visx

    Visualization components

...Odds are good your React app already has an opinion on how animation, theming, or styling is done. visx is careful not to add another one and integrates with all of them. As you start using visualization primitives, you’ll end up building your own charting library that’s optimized for your use case. You’re in control. And most importantly, it’s just React. If you know React, you can make visualizations. It’s all the same standard APIs and familiar patterns. visx should feel at home in any React codebase.

The official Python Library for the Groq API

Groq Python is the official Python SDK for the Groq REST API, giving Python developers straightforward access to Groq’s LLM, chat, audio, and other AI services. Through this library, you can call Groq’s models from Python code — for example to request chat completions, code generation, transcription, or any supported endpoint — using idiomatic Python syntax. The SDK handles authentication (via environment variable or parameter), defines proper type-safe request/response data types, and...

    AWS IoT Device Defender Library

    AWS IoT Device Defender Library

Client library for using AWS IoT Defender service on embedded devices

The Device Defender library enables you to send device metrics to the AWS IoT Device Defender Service. This library also supports custom metrics, a feature that helps you monitor operational health metrics that are unique to your fleet or use case. For example, you can define a new metric to monitor the memory usage or CPU usage on your devices. This library has no dependencies on any additional libraries other than the standard C library, and therefore, can be used with any MQTT client library. This library is distributed under the MIT Open Source License. This library has gone through code quality checks including verification that no function has a GNU Complexity score over 8, and checks against deviations from mandatory rules in the MISRA coding standard. ...

    Doctrine Lexer

    Doctrine Lexer

Base library for a lexer that can be used in Recursive Descent Parsers

PHP Doctrine Lexer parser library that can be used in Top-Down, Recursive Descent Parsers. This lexer is used in Doctrine Annotations and in Doctrine ORM (DQL). To write your own parser you just need to extend Doctrine\Common\Lexer\AbstractLexer and implement three abstract methods. These methods define the lexical catchable and non-catchable patterns and a method for returning the type of a token and filtering the value if necessary. The Lexer is responsible for giving you an API to walk...

Java Client for Google Maps Services

Java client library for Google Maps API Web Services

...API keys are generated in the 'Credentials' page of the 'APIs & Services' tab of Google Cloud console. The Java Client for Google Maps Services is designed for use in both server and Android applications. In either case, it is important to add API key restrictions to improve the security of your API key. Additional security measures, such as hiding your key from version control, should also be put in place to further improve the security of your API key.

    WTFJS

A list of funny and tricky JavaScript examples

...Each entry presents a small snippet, explains why the behavior occurs, and ties it back to the specification or engine rules. The repository covers coercion quirks, edge-case comparisons, floating-point oddities, prototype traps, and scoping pitfalls, among others. It’s designed as both a fun read and a serious learning aid, helping developers build an intuition for how JavaScript evaluates expressions. By highlighting common misconceptions, it encourages safer coding patterns and more reliable mental models. ...

    Smallest possible

    Smallest possible

Smallest possible syntactically valid files of different types

...It serves both as a curiosity and as a utility for developers and testers who might need tiny stub files for testing tooling, parsing, or file-type handling. Because each file targets minimal syntactical correctness, the repository is valuable for edge-case testing (e.g., parsers handling smallest valid inputs). The project is open, community-welcoming (pull requests accepted) and carries a public-domain style waiver by the author. Although specialized, its uniqueness lies in spanning many file types and languages uniformly under the “minimal valid” idea.

    go-daemon

    go-daemon

A library for writing system daemons in golang

...But the library was tested only on Linux and OSX, so if you have the ability to test the library on other platforms, give me feedback, please (#26). We can not use fork syscall in Golang's runtime, because child process doesn't inherit threads and goroutines in that case. The library uses a simple trick: it runs its own copy with a mark - a predefined environment variable. Availability of the variable for the process means execution in the child's copy. So that if the mark is not set - the library executes the parent's operations and runs its own copy with the mark, and if the mark is set - the library executes the child's operations.

    Clean Code PHP

    Clean Code PHP

Clean Code concepts adapted for PHP

...It distills principles like meaningful naming, small functions, single responsibility, error handling, and tests into style rules and examples tailored for PHP’s idioms and language features. Contributors map each guideline to real-world scenarios—refactoring suggestions, before/after code snippets, and edge-case handling—in ways that are directly applicable to legacy and greenfield code. Because PHP is dynamically typed and loosely structured, the project pays special attention to avoiding “magic,” enforcing explicitness, and using type hints and invariants where possible. Its goal isn't to enforce a specific tool or formatting dogma but to raise collective code quality by cultivating shared discipline and vocabulary. ...

    Big List of Naughty Strings

List of strings which have a high probability of causing issues

The Big List of Naughty Strings is a community-maintained catalog of “gotcha” inputs that commonly break software, from unusual Unicode to SQL and script injection payloads. It exists so developers and QA engineers can easily test edge cases that normal test data would miss, such as zero-width characters, right-to-left marks, emojis, foreign alphabets, and long or malformed strings. By throwing these strings at forms, APIs, databases, and UIs, teams can discover encoding bugs, sanitizer...
