    WhichBrowser

    WhichBrowser

Browser sniffing gone too far — A useragent parser library for PHP

...My website is html5test.com and I wanted to know which score belongs to which browser. To do that you need a browser sniffing library. Almost all browsers say they are Netscape 5 and almost all WebKit browsers say they are based on Gecko. Even Internet Explorer 11 now no longer claims to be IE at all, but instead, an unnamed browser that is like Gecko. And it gets worse.

    90s Cursor Effects

    90s Cursor Effects

Old-school cursor effects for your browser built with modern JS

"Knowing the codes" used to be all the rage, I want to bring a few back. A repo of the old effects that inspired creativity and the desire to learn at least a little code around the world. Modernized so they're a little more efficient, and just as annoying (and twice as fun) as they were before.

    Perfetto

    Perfetto

Production-grade client-side tracing, profiling, and analysis

...It’s designed around a low-overhead producer/consumer model: instrumented components (“producers”) write binary events into shared memory buffers and a collector (“service”) reliably streams them to storage. The data model spans kernel and userspace, so you can stitch together CPU scheduling, app lifecycles, binder/IPC hops, GPU work, power and thermal signals, file I/O, heap samples, and more into a single coherent timeline. Perfetto’s ecosystem includes a web-based UI that can load multi-GB traces directly in the browser and an offline “trace processor” that exposes the trace as a queryable SQL-like table schema for deep analysis and automation. It integrates natively with Android (replacing older atrace/Systrace paths) and can sit alongside custom instrumentation in apps or services through its SDKs.

    ULib

    ULib

C++ application development framework, to help developers create apps

ULib is a highly optimized class framework for writing C++ applications. I wrote this framework as my tool for writing applications in various contexts. It is a result of many years of work as a C++ programmer. I think, in my opinion, that its strongest points are simplicity, efficiency, and sophisticated debugging. ULib is meant as a very lightweight C++ library to facilitate using C++ design patterns even for very deeply embedded applications, such as for systems using uclibc along with...

    pivottablejs

    pivottablejs

Drag’n’drop Pivot Tables and Charts for Jupyter/IPython Notebook

PivotTable.js is a Javascript Pivot Table and Pivot Chart library with drag-drop interactivity, and it can now be used with Jupyter/IPython Notebook via the pivottablejs module. I first built PivotTable.js with a plan to build an in-browser data analysis tool, and got as far as one where you could load up a CSV file in the browser for display. Since then, however, the Jupyter project has gathered steam and now provides a browser-based interface to some of the most powerful data processing libraries in the world, so it makes sense to interface with it.

    QuickSlide

A tool to generate HTML-based slide shows.

This tool allow the generation of slide shows in HTML format (to run simply in the browser). It can not replace Microsoft Power Point, but, it allows you to create a slide show by writing Java code. The generated slide show can be run easily in the browser so it is platform independent and does not need any additional software installation, even on new installed OS or Smart phones. In this first pre-alpha version, the generated code supports simple text and basic lists only, but, I hope to add more features in the future.

    chrome-extensions-examples

    chrome-extensions-examples

All Chrome Extension examples collected into one repository

This is not an official mirror of the Chrome extension examples. Report any issues with the examples themselves to Google's issue trackers/forums. The Chrome Extensions examples did not exist as a Git repository, and browsing both the samples page and the VCViewer did not seem particularly handy. So, I decided to scrape the content into this repository for easier browsing and (possible) editing.
