    Dumper.js

    Dumper.js

A better and pretty variable inspector for your Node.js applications

Dumper.js is a small JavaScript utility for pretty-printing or serializing JavaScript objects and data structures in a human-readable, tree-like format — useful for debugging, logging, or inspecting complex nested data. When you pass an object (or array, or nested structure) through dumper.js, it outputs a representation that shows keys, nested depth, and structure clearly, making it easier to understand what’s inside compared to default JSON dumps or console.log clutter. This can be especially helpful when dealing with large objects, deeply nested responses, or when you need to inspect something quickly without building custom serializers. The utility is minimal and straightforward: you import it, pass your data, and get the result. Because it doesn’t rely on heavy dependencies, it can be easily included in small scripts or bigger projects alike.

    Dunst

    Dunst

    Lightweight and customizable notification daemon

Dunst is a lightweight replacement for the notification daemons provided by most desktop environments. It’s very customizable, isn’t dependent on any toolkits, and therefore fits into those window manager-centric setups we all love to customize to perfection. Customize fonts, icons, timeouts, and more. Are you unhappy with the default shortcuts and colors? No worries, you can change these all with a simple configuration file tweak. Change the look or behavior of notifications matching a specified pattern. You could use this to change the color of message notifications from your favorite jabber buddies, or to prevent important work email notifications from disappearing until you manually dismiss them. Specify the monitor that notifications should display on, or have them appear on the monitor with keyboard or mouse focus. Catch an unread notification disappearing from the corner of your eye? Just tap a keyboard shortcut to replay the last notification.

    DynaMix

    DynaMix

    A new take on polymorphism

DynaMix (Dynamic Mixins) is an alternative take on object-oriented programming and dynamic polymorphism. It lets users compose and modify polymorphic objects at run time. The main target language is C++, but C is also supported. The library is a means to create a project's architecture rather than achieve its purpose. It helps with extensibility, readability, scalability, and interoperability. It focuses on maximal performance and minimal memory overhead. The library uses the type dynamix::object as a placeholder, whose instances can be extended with existing classes (mixins), thus providing a particular instance with the mixin features of all those types. Likely the most important types of mixin features are messages: functional objects that in C++-OOP terms can be thought of as methods. Mixin features are overridable and use late binding and singular dispatch. Unicasts and multicasts are possible.

    Dynamic Flex forms

    Dynamic Flex forms

Components to generate a flex (spark) form dynamically

Proof of concept project to investigate the potential to generate Flex forms from a dynamic (possibly externalised) source to cut development time building common form functionality. I've previously used 'control' classes to allow non technical users to configure form validation parameters in an external XML file, however the form & model still required development time. As an extension of the form class to function more like a SkinnableDataComponent the form items become 'ItemRenderers' containing typical inputs. Bi-directional binding is maintained by introducing a DynamicModel class which is also capable of tracking dirtied fields & performing validation.

    EA Async

    EA Async

EA Async implements async-await methods in the JVM

EA Async implements Async-Await methods in the JVM. It allows programmers to write asynchronous code in a sequential fashion. EA Async should be used to write non-blocking asynchronous code that makes heavy use of CompletableFutures or CompletionStage. It improves scalability by freeing worker threads while your code awaits other processes; And improves productivity by making asynchronous code simpler and more readable. The methods look blocking but are actually transformed into asynchronous methods that use CompletableFutures to continue the execution as intermediary results arrive.

    EASTL

    EASTL

EASTL, Electronic Arts Standard Template Library

EASTL stands for Electronic Arts Standard Template Library. It is a C++ template library of containers, algorithms, and iterators useful for runtime and tool development across multiple platforms. It is a fairly extensive and robust implementation of such a library and has an emphasis on high performance above all other considerations. If you are familiar with the C++ STL or have worked with other templated container/algorithm libraries, you probably don't need to read this. If you have no familiarity with C++ templates at all, then you probably will need more than this document to get you up to speed. In this case, you need to understand that templates, when used properly, are powerful vehicles for the ease of creation of optimized C++ code. A description of C++ templates is outside the scope of this documentation, but there is plenty of such documentation on the Internet.

    EJDB

    EJDB

Embeddable JSON Database engine C library

EJDB 2.0, Embeddable JSON Database engine C library. Simple XPath like query language (JQL). Websockets / Android / iOS / React Native / Flutter / Java / Dart / Node.js bindings. Docker image. Array elements are matched from start to end. In equal arrays all values at the same index should be equal. Lexicographically sort object keys in both maps. Do matching keys and its values starting from the lowest key. Database index can be build for any JSON field path containing values of number or string type. All documents in collection are sorted by their primary key in descending order. So if you use auto generated keys (ejdb_put_new) you may be sure what documents fetched as result of full scan query will be ordered according to the time of insertion in descendant order, unless you don't use query sorting, indexes or inverse keyword.

    EJS

    EJS

    Embedded JavaScript templates for node

EJS is a templating engine for JavaScript/Node.js that allows developers to embed plain JavaScript code into HTML markup. The idea is to avoid introducing a separate DSL for templating and instead use familiar JavaScript logic inside template tags to generate dynamic content. You write templates using <% %> scriptlet tags, <%= %> for output, and you can include other templates, pass data, and control flow with loops and conditionals. It’s fast because it compiles templates to JavaScript functions and caches them by default, so subsequent rendering is efficient. EJS supports both server-side render (in Node/Express) and client-side use in the browser, making it versatile for universal apps. Because you’re using raw JS, debugging is simple—the errors are standard JS stack traces with template line numbers included. While it doesn’t impose a rigid structure (you’re free to organize templates however you like), it works reliably and is simple to adopt.

    EKS Best Practices

    EKS Best Practices

A best practices guide for day 2 operations

The Amazon EKS Best Practices Guide is a public repository containing comprehensive documentation and guidance for operating production-grade Kubernetes clusters on AWS’s managed service, Amazon EKS. Rather than a code library, it serves as a reference catalogue of patterns, anti-patterns, checklists and architectures across domains such as security, reliability, scalability, networking, cost optimization and hybrid cloud deployments. The repository is maintained by AWS but open to contributions from the community, making it a living document that evolves as Kubernetes and AWS features evolve. Each section dives into operational details—for example, how to manage IAM roles for service accounts, secure the EKS endpoint, handle node auto-scaling, and design for multi-AZ resilience. Because running Kubernetes in production demands many “day-2” considerations (upgrades, drift, monitoring, incident response), the guide provides practical advice beyond simple cluster provisioning.

    ESP8266Audio

    ESP8266Audio

Arduino library to play MOD, WAV, FLAC, MIDI, RTTTL, MP3

Arduino library for parsing and decoding MOD, WAV, MP3, FLAC, MIDI, AAC, and RTTL files and playing them on an I2S DAC or even using a software-simulated delta-sigma DAC with dynamic 32x-128x oversampling. ESP8266 is fully supported and most mature, but ESP32 is also mostly there with built-in DAC as well as external ones. For real-time, autonomous speech synthesis, check out ESP8266SAM, a library that uses this one and a port of an ancient format-based synthesis program to allow your ESP8266 to talk with low memory and no network required. All this code is released under the GPL, and all of it is to be used at your own risk. If you find any bugs, please let me know via the GitHub issue tracker or drop me an email. The MOD and MP3 routines were taken from StellaPlayer and libMAD respectively. The software I2S delta-sigma 32x oversampling DAC was my own creation and sounds quite good if I do say so myself.
