    GraphQL Kotlin

    GraphQL Kotlin

Libraries for running GraphQL in Kotlin

...The most common way to create the schema in graphql-java is to first manually write the SDL file. Then write the runtime code that matches this schema to build the GraphQLSchema object. This means that there are two sources of truth for your schema and changes in either have to be reflected in both locations. As your schema scales to hundreds of types and many different resolvers, it can get more difficult to track what code needs to be changed if you want to add a new field, deprecate or delete an existing one, or fix a bug in the resolver code. graphql-kotlin-schema-generator aims to simplify this process by using Kotlin reflection to generate the schema for you. ...

    Blurhash

    Blurhash

Library to show colorful blurry placeholders while your content loads

...Does your database engineer cry when you want to solve this by trying to cram little thumbnail images into your data to show as placeholders? Replace boring grey boxes with beautiful blurhash states and the designers will be happy. Blurhash strings are short enough to be added as a field in a JSON object and to be stored in a database. The implementations are small and easy to port to new languages, and the end result is a smooth and interesting experience for your users. In short, BlurHash takes an image and gives you a short string (only 20-30 characters!) that represents the placeholder for this image. You do this on the backend of your service and store the string along with the image.

    GraphQL Java Tools

    GraphQL Java Tools

A schema-first tool for graphql-java inspired by graphql-tools for JS

This library allows you to use the GraphQL schema language to build your graphql-java schema. Inspired by graphql-tools, it parses the given GraphQL schema and allows you to BYOO (bring your own object) to fill in the implementations. GraphQL Java Tools works extremely well if you already have domain POJOs that hold your data (e.g. for RPC, ORM, REST, etc) by allowing you to map these magically to GraphQL objects. GraphQL Java Tools aims for seamless integration with Java, but works for any JVM language. Try it with Kotlin.

krangl is a {K}otlin library for data w{rangl}ing. Implementing a grammar of data manipulation using a modern functional-style API, allows filtering, transforming, aggregating, and reshaping tabular data. krangl is heavily inspired by the amazing dplyr for R. krangl is written in Kotlin, excels in Kotlin, but emphasizes as well on good java-interop. It is mimicking the API of dplyr, while carefully adding more typed constructs where possible.
