    RegistryFilterExample

    Registry Filter Driver SDK

The EaseFilter Registry Filter Driver SDK is a powerful, kernel-mode development toolkit designed to help developers monitor, control, and protect Windows registry operations in real time. It enables the development of robust security, compliance, and system integrity solutions by intercepting and managing registry access before it reaches the Windows registry subsystem. The SDK allows your application to receive notifications before any registry operation is processed by the Windows Configuration Manager. By registering a RegistryCallback routine, your application can detect: Registry key creation, deletion, renaming Registry value changes Query operations

    Ribbon

    Ribbon

Ribbon is an inter process communication library

Ribbon is a Inter Process Communication (remote procedure calls) library with built in software load balancers. The primary usage model involves REST calls with various serialization scheme support. Ribbon comprises of multiple components some of which are used in production internally and some of which were replaced by non-OSS solutions over time. This is because Netflix started moving into a more componentized architecture for RPC with a focus on single-responsibility modules. So each Ribbon component gets a different level of attention at this moment. APIs that integrate load balancing, fault tolerance, caching/batching on top of other ribbon modules and Hystrix. Load balancer APIs that can be used independently or with other modules. APIs using Eureka client to provide dynamic server list for cloud.

    RoaringBitmap

    RoaringBitmap

A better compressed bitset in Java

Bitsets, also called bitmaps, are commonly used as fast data structures. Unfortunately, they can use too much memory. To compensate, we often use compressed bitmaps. Roaring bitmaps are compressed bitmaps which tend to outperform conventional compressed bitmaps such as WAH, EWAH or Concise. In some instances, roaring bitmaps can be hundreds of times faster and they often offer significantly better compression. They can even be faster than uncompressed bitmaps.

    RxJavaSamples

    RxJavaSamples

Examples of some of the most common usages of RxJava 2 and Retrofit

Examples of some of the most common uses of RxJava 2 with Retrofit. For the interface that needs to request the token first, then use flatMap() to connect the token request and the actual data request coherently, without having to write a nested Callback structure. For non-disposable tokens (tokens that can be reused), after obtaining the token, save it for repeated use, and use retryWhen() to automatically re-acquire the token when it expires, making the process of token acquisition completely transparent and simplified. Convert the returned data into a more convenient format and give it to the Observer.

    RxPermissions

    RxPermissions

Android runtime permissions powered by RxJava2

This library allows the usage of RxJava with the new Android M permission model. If you need to trigger the permission request from a specific event, you need to setup your event as an observable inside an initialization phase. You can use JakeWharton/RxBinding to turn your view to an observable (not included in the library). Because your app may be restarted during the permission request, the request must be done during an initialization phase. This may be Activity.onCreate, or View.onFinishInflate, but not pausing methods like onResume, because you'll potentially create an infinite request loop, as your requesting activity is paused by the framework during the permission request. If not, and if your app is restarted during the permission request (because of a configuration change for instance), the user's answer will never be emitted to the subscriber.

Java API to communicate via RMI calls to run reports and retrieve data using the Capita SIMS CommandReporter.exe tool without contravening support agreements. This has been written using Netbeans and the download contains the whole project folders. Note there is a complex server side setup. If you decide to enter a not recommend to this please give a reason as a blank comment tells nobody what is bad about it and therefore cannot be corrected. I have re-enabled this facility so I can get feedback. I've used this library and server software in a number of areas now at my school for some time and have had no problem. In conjunction with my MoodleRest library I am able to keep staff, students and classes in sync between Moodle and SIMS. I have also used it to create a LearningGateway like site running on Glassfish, albeit no write back and not live to the public but could if configured to run over https. The list can go on but I'm running out of characters! 205 downloads so far.

    SPARGEL

    SPARGEL

An opensource Java graph library. Abandoned, ignore.

Spargel is a Java graph library that puts its effort in having a rather small but powerful code basis. This is achieved by extending graphs via properties in form of vertice and edge maps. Because these maps are an individual implementation depending on the graph datastructure used, they are more memory efficient than using a Java HashMap. Currently spargel is in its early stages, but will soon support more tasks. As now, implemented are: * Adjecency graph data structures * Algorithms: SSSP, APSP, Traversal, Min-Cut, Max-Flow, Many types of finding Components * Creating sub graphs, vertice and edge maps that use a function to implement their mapping. Spargel is released under GPLv3
