CHAP Links Library is a web based visualization library for displaying graphs, networks, and timelines. The tools are developed as Google Visualization Charts for Javascript and GWT. Competent Audio (CA) is an audio engine suitable for video games. It is written in C, but is designed for interoperability with other languages. Windows and Linux binaries for x86 and amd64 are available. CA uses a machine graph model with support for arbitrary numbers of machines, limited only by the available system resources: - Samplers play back audio clips. - Mixers combine audio signals and optionally perform signal processing. - Sinks send audio signals to an output device. Stereo and mono sound output is supported via a slightly customized version of libsoundio 2.0. Audio clips can have arbitrary channel counts, and can be queued for streaming or dynamic music. CA contains a very simple embedded VM for running custom signal processors, allowing you to add custom DSP code (currently assembly language only) without compiling native code. Errors are reported using well-documented negative return codes, and CA attempts to handle expected errors gracefully.

The Environment State Virtual Sensors for Android is a library that allows recognition of environmental scenarios in which an Android device can be found. The basic scenarios types are: Motion states, Noise states, Proximity state, ringer-mode state.

Neat library, that provides a simple way to implement guillotine-styled animation. Builder allows you to customize start delay, duration, interpolation and you can set listener if you want to do staff at the moment when menu has been opened or closed.

Charting library for Android compatible with API 8+(Android 2.2). Works best when hardware acceleration is available, so API 14+(Android 4.0) is recommended. Apache License 2.0. Line chart (cubic lines, filled lines, scattered points), column chart (grouped, stacked, negative values), pie chart, bubble chart, combo chart (columns/lines), preview charts (for column chart and line chart), zoom (pinch to zoom, double tap zoom), scroll and fling. Custom and auto-generated axes (top, bottom, left, right, inside), and animations. Code of a demo application is in hellocharts-samples directory, requires appcompat v21. The demo app is also ready for download on Google Play. Every chart view can be defined in layout xml file or created in code and added to layout later. After the chart data has been set you can still modify its attributes but right after that you should call set*ChartData() method again to let chart recalculate and redraw data.

JAAD is an open-source AAC decoder and MP4 demultiplexer library written completely in Java. It is platform-independent and portable.

JIGL is Brigham Young University's Java Image and Graphics Library, originally developed by Bryan Morse's lab at BYU.

JWebThumb is Java API for WebThumb (webthumb.bluga.net) web service API for generating web thumbnails and full size snapshots of websites.

jMythAPI is a java library to query and control a MythTV backend and MythTV database. JMythAPI uses the Myth protocol to communicate with the MythTV backend and the MySQL JDBC driver to query the MythTV database. It provides a high level API enabling java developers to easily access MythTV, without the need to know all the details about the underlying protocol and differences between various protocol versions.

A library for cross-platform vector graphics cut and paste in java. It allows one to draw graphics which can the be pasted into word or openoffice. It handles Graphics2D, but not bitmap picture inclusion nor transparencies.

LEA is a lightweight eyetracking algorithm library (hence the name) written in and for Java. LEA is able to track eye movements with an ordinary webcam and returns relative movements (up, down, ...). It is also able to compensate for slight head motions.

LibBWEntrainment is a Free and Open Source Brainwave Entrainment Library for Java. *** It is not a standalone application. *** The library is very flexible, allowing different types of renderers (isochronic, binaural, ...) as well as multiple output devices (speakers, file, socket or even screen), and it can easily be ported to other languages because it doesn't use any proprietary Java feature. MaterialLibrary is an open source Android library that back-port Material Design components to pre-Lolipop Android. MaterialLibrary's original author is Rey Pham. Now you can use any widget in com.rey.material.widget package as you wish. For styling, please view Wiki. Note that default style of widgets depend on theme of AppCompat. AppCompat and CardView library is required by Material library. Make sure to add the snapshot repository. You can try the SNAPSHOT version.

Neuroph OCR - Handwriting Recognition is developed to recognize hand written letter and characters. It's engine derived's from the Java Neural Network Framework - Neuroph and as such it can be used as a standalone project or a Neuroph plug in.

Odin is a map generator derived from map generation experiments for a video game called Crypts of Eldor; after requests to release the tool, a decision was made to release a map editor based on this code. Additionally, a Java API is provided so that the map generator can be integrated into new software.

Images add much-needed context and visual flair to Android applications. Picasso allows for hassle-free image loading in your application—often in one line of code! Many common pitfalls of image loading on Android are handled automatically by Picasso: Handling ImageView recycling and download cancelation in an adapter. Complex image transformations with minimal memory use. Automatic memory and disk caching. Adapter re-use is automatically detected and the previous download canceled. Transform images to better fit into layouts and to reduce memory size. You can also specify custom transformations for more advanced effects. Picasso supports both download and error placeholders as optional features. Resources, assets, files, content providers are all supported as image sources. For development you can enable the display of a colored ribbon which indicates the image source.

SkyMonome facilitates Monome hardware programming in Java by manipulating simple virtual entities like groups of leds, sequencers, etc... You don't need to know the OSC protocol at all. SkyMonome uses JavaOSC library and needs only Java 5.

Thank you for your interest in Speedy Composer. Speedy Composer is an automated application for composing melodies for Speedy Net members. We recently made changes to the source code of Speedy Net, and converted it into the Python language and Django framework. Since Speedy Composer was originally written in PHP, it is not adapted to work with Speedy Net in its current form. So unfortunately we were forced to temporarily close the app Speedy Composer. But don't worry, we kept backups of all the tunes composed by Speedy Composer, and when the website is reopened we will upload them to the new site. Speedy Composer and Speedy Net are open source applications, free software. We are currently looking for volunteers to help us convert Speedy Composer to Python.
