    pushy

    pushy

A Java library for sending APNs (iOS/macOS/Safari)

...With Pushy, it’s easy and efficient to maintain multiple parallel connections to the APNs gateway to send large numbers of notifications to many different applications (“topics”). We believe that Pushy is already the best tool for sending APNs push notifications from Java applications, and we hope you’ll help us make it even better via bug reports and pull requests. If you need a simple GUI application for sending push notifications for development or testing purposes, you might also be interested in Pushy’s sister project, Pushy Console.

    openHAB Distribution

    openHAB Distribution

    The binary distribution of openHAB

The open Home Automation Bus (openHAB) project aims to provide a universal integration platform for all things around home automation. It is a pure Java solution, fully based on OSGi. It is designed to be vendor-neutral as well as hardware/protocol-agnostic. openHAB brings together different bus systems, hardware devices, and interface protocols by dedicated bindings. These bindings send and receive commands and status updates on the openHAB event bus. This concept allows designing user interfaces with a unique look&feel, but with the possibility to operate devices based on a big number of different technologies. ...

    Brave

    Brave

Java distributed tracing implementation compatible with Zipkin backend

...Brave typically intercepts production requests to gather timing data, correlate and propagate trace contexts. While typically trace data is sent to Zipkin server, third-party plugins are available to send to alternate services such as Amazon X-Ray. This repository includes dependency-free Java libraries and instrumentation for common components used in production services. For example, this includes trace filters for Servlet and log correlation for Apache Log4J. Brave's dependency-free tracer library works against JRE6+. This is the underlying api that instrumentation use to time operations and add tags that describe them. ...

    Android Drag Dismiss Activity

    Android Drag Dismiss Activity

A smooth, easy-to-implement, drag to dismiss Android Activity

Another implementation of the drag-to-dismiss Activity pattern. This one is inspired by Nick Butcher's Plaid implementation. The project has a simple API and is a pretty powerful and beautiful implementation of the pattern. This library is used in some of my apps (Talon for Twitter and Pulse SMS). It has been abstracted from Jacob Klinker and I's article-android library, which is an awesome readability style in-app web browser. This library provides an elastic layout that can dismiss an...

    TcpChannel

A simple, non-blocking, NIO-based, TCP socket API for Java

TcpChannel is a simple, small API to allow processes to communicate using TCP sockets based on NIO implementations. The API presents the communication between processes using an observer pattern for handling received messages and an asynchronous send method for sending. Generally, writing NIO socket handling is non-trivial. TcpChannel exists to let Java developers write processes that communicate with each other using a simple send and receive pattern.

    J-X-Way UNI-TE

    Java library for X-Way and/or UNI-TE communication.

PROJECT HAS MOVED HERE: https://github.com/Elektordi/x-way-uni-te X-Way and UNI-TE (also used in Unitelway) are communication protocols for old Schneider Electrics PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), formerly "Modicon Télémécanique". The aim of this open-source project is to create a Java library to send and receive such data, because there is actually no open-source project at all in this field. Keep in mind that those protocols are old and not maintained anymore by any company, but still used in many old PLCs installations.
