    sectorlisp

    sectorlisp

Bootstrapping LISP in a Boot Sector

The sectorlisp project is a minimal implementation of the Lisp programming language designed to fit within extremely constrained environments. It is engineered to run in very small memory footprints, making it suitable for educational purposes and experimentation with low-level programming concepts. The project demonstrates how a functional programming language can be implemented with minimal resources while still retaining core features.

    Gramine

    Gramine

A library OS for Linux multi-process applications

Gramine is a lightweight library-operating system (Library OS) designed to run unmodified Linux applications with minimal dependencies on the host OS, and to offer enhanced isolation and portability. It was formerly known as Graphene, but the project renamed to Gramine to avoid naming conflicts and to reflect its broader ambition beyond the original research prototype. The idea is that instead of running a full guest OS in a VM, you embed your application inside Gramine, which handles the system-call interface, process and thread management, file system, and network abstractions — everything the application expects — but strips out the overhead and complexity of a full OS stack. ...

    uemacs

    uemacs

Random version of microemacs with my private modificatons

...The codebase prizes simplicity and portability, making it feasible to build and run on a variety of Unix-like systems without heavyweight dependencies. Its feature set is deliberately modest compared to full Emacs, favoring a quick, predictable editing experience for everyday text manipulation. The project serves as both a functional tool and an example of clean, old-school C systems programming. Because the editor is small, users can understand and modify it more easily than sprawling IDEs, which is appealing for hacking and learning. It’s not meant to compete with modern extensible editors; it exists as a minimal, dependable workhorse that starts fast and stays out of the way.

    stb

    stb

stb single-file public domain libraries for C/C++

stb is an open source collection of single-file C libraries created by Sean Barrett (nothings) for graphics, image loading, and utility functions. The repository provides lightweight, public domain libraries that can be easily integrated into projects without external dependencies or complex build processes. Popular components include stb_image.h for image loading, stb_image_write.h for writing images, and stb_truetype.h for font rendering. These libraries are widely used in game...

    microui

    microui

    A tiny immediate-mode UI library

microui is a tiny immediate-mode user interface library designed for developers who want a minimal UI foundation without a heavy framework. It follows the immediate-mode pattern, where the interface is rebuilt each frame from application state instead of being stored as a large retained widget tree. The project is intentionally small and gives developers room to add their own controls, rendering backends, and interaction patterns.

    Smallchat

    Smallchat

A minimal programming example for a chat server

Smallchat is a minimalistic chat server implemented in C, designed as a small-scale example (for didactic purposes) of writing system software such as network servers, multiplexed I/O and client state handling. The project shows how you can build a working chat server (accepting clients, broadcasting messages) in very few lines of C, without heavy libraries or frameworks—essentially minimal code, minimal dependencies, and minimal feature-set to illustrate the core concepts. It uses the simplest assumptions (for example: clients connect via telnet or netcat, line-based I/O) and keeps the message logic straightforward: each received line from one client is broadcast to all others (fan-out). ...

Portability between many operating systems and architectures. Tests with 100% branch coverage and multiple sanitizers. Drag & drop source code distribution. There is 100% branch coverage on Linux. Buffer for encoding/decoding variables, best fit for protocol/serialization implementations. ...

    Simple Dynamic Strings

    Simple Dynamic Strings

Simple Dynamic Strings library for C

Simple Dynamic Strings is a C string library developed to address the limitations of the standard C library’s string handling (null-terminated char pointers) by providing heap-allocated, binary-safe, efficient dynamic strings. The library was originally used internally in Redis, but pulled out as a standalone project to allow any C project to benefit from its features. SDS strings maintain metadata (length, allocation size) just before the pointer returned to the user, while still being compatible with standard C string APIs (null-terminated). They enable common operations like concatenation, formatted append, efficient growth and trimming, and safe binary data handling. ...

    EGNLA

Heterogeneous cluster for acceleration of linear algebra computations

This project deals with a new concept of the heterogeneous grid for acceleration of the numerical linear algebra computing. We design this grid with respect to maximal ratio between cost and computational power. It allows a parallelization of scientific codes with minimal programming effort. We also optimize grid concept to be less sensitive to network parameters.
