    GH Archive

    GH Archive

GH Archive is a project to record the public GitHub timeline

GH Archive collects public GitHub activity and preserves it as a historical dataset for analysis. It polls GitHub’s event feed and groups the raw responses into compressed hourly JSON archives. The records cover actions such as commits, forks, issue activity, comments, and repository membership changes. Researchers can download specific hours, days, or longer periods with ordinary HTTP tools and process the events in their own systems. The dataset is also published through Google BigQuery for large-scale SQL-style exploration without downloading every archive. Its structure supports trend analysis, visualizations, machine learning, and open-source ecosystem research. ...

    996.ICU

    996.ICU

Repo for counting stars and contributing

...The repo galvanized global attention to labor rights in software by aggregating discussions, legal references, and media coverage that highlight the health and legal risks of excessive overtime. It popularized the Anti-996 License, a software license intended to discourage companies with abusive labor practices from benefiting from open source. The project also fostered translations and international outreach, turning a regional issue into a worldwide conversation about humane work standards. Its simplicity—a README-driven campaign—showed how developer communities can advocate collectively. Beyond code, it stands as an example of using open repositories to coordinate social action in tech.

    Cheshire

    Cheshire

Clojure JSON and JSON SMILE (binary json format) encoding/decoding

Cheshire is a high-performance JSON encoding and decoding library for Clojure, built atop Jackson to combine fast parsing/generation with advanced support for types like Dates, UUIDs, Sets, Symbols, and the binary JSON SMILE format. Custom encoding is supported from 2.0.0 and up if you encounter a bug, please open a GitHub issue. From 5.0.0 onwards, custom encoding has been moved to be part of the core namespace (not requiring a namespace change). Custom and Core encoding have been combined in Cheshire 5.0.0, so there is no longer any need to require a different namespace depending on what you would like to use. Cheshire will automatically use a BigInteger if needed for non-floating-point numbers.

    Strikt

    Strikt

    An assertion library for Kotlin

Strikt is an assertion library for Kotlin intended for use with a test runner such as JUnit, Minutest, Spek, or KotlinTest. Strikt uses a fluent assertion style similar to AssertJ but leverages Kotlin's type system and extension functions rather than needing a complex hierarchy of assertion builder classes. Strikt is under development, but 100% usable. The API may change until version 1.0 is released. Any suggestions, issue reports, contributions, or feedback are very welcome.

    Issues for GitHub

Just a place to track issues and feature requests

isaacs/github is an archived repository created primarily as a personal issue and feature request tracker related to the GitHub platform rather than a traditional software library. Fast and simple OCR library written in Swift

SwiftOCR is a fast and simple OCR library written in Swift. It uses a neural network for image recognition. As of now, SwiftOCR is optimized for recognizing short, one-line long alphanumeric codes (e.g. DI4C9CM). We currently support iOS and OS X. If you want to recognize normal text like a poem or a news article, go with Tesseract, but if you want to recognize short, alphanumeric codes (e.g. gift cards), I would advise you to choose SwiftOCR because that's where it exceeds. Tesseract is...
