A network security analysis and monitoring toolkit Linux distribution.
Network Security Toolkit (NST) is a bootable ISO image (Live DVD/USB Flash Drive) based on Fedora 26 providing easy access to best-of-breed Open Source Network Security Applications and should run on most x86_64 systems. The main intent of developing this toolkit was to provide the security professional and network administrator with a comprehensive set of Open Source Network Security Tools. The majority of tools published in the article: Top 125 Security Tools by INSECURE.ORG are available in the toolkit. An advanced Web User Interface (WUI) is provided for system/network administration, navigation, automation, network monitoring, host geolocation, network analysis and configuration of many network and security applications found within the NST distribution. In the virtual world, NST can be used as a network security analysis, validation and monitoring tool on enterprise virtual servers hosting virtual machines.
Highly scalable/configurable Messaging Platform allowing users in a domain to be distributed on multiple hosts, has multiple queues. Provides virtual domains/users in MySQL. Modern MSP class qmail replacement with ESMTP, POP3/IMAP, QMTP, QMQP support
Project moved to https://github.com/owfs/owfs/
Please note that OWFS source code, and all Issue/Tickets/merge requests have now been moved to https://github.com/owfs/owfs/. Developer mailing lists will still be kept at Sourceforge. ---- OWFS -- 1-Wire file system. Use the Dallas 1-Wire and iButton chips with standard filesystem commands. Create temperature loggers. Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Basically you can use these inexpensive little sensors and other chips with very simple wiring to sense and control the physical environment. The interface is very flexible -- everything from a web browser, to read and writing directly to the chip's "file" to integrating with your programs -- even over the internet. There is a growing number of 1-wire sensors: temperature, voltage, humidity, light, ultraviolet, pressure, thermisters, thermocouples, programmable microcontrollers, relays, lights, LCD panels, etc
Video mixer for mixing live and recorded video and audio feeds
New version 0.5.1 Released February 9th 2016. Snowmix is a Swiss army knife tool for mixing live and recorded video and audio feeds. It supports 2D and 3D clipping, scaling and transparent overlay of video, png graphics and text. It supports animation of video, images and texts through native commands changing scale, placement, transparency and rotation. Animation and actions can also be controlled through native scripting and an embedded Tcl interpreter. Snowmix is designed for control over low bandwidth links and can work as a standalone CLI based program. Control over both CLI and a TCP connections. Input and outputs can be done through GStreamer pipelines or the GStreamer shmsrc/shmsink API. OS X on Intel and Linux on amd64/i386/i686/ARMv7 and FreeBSD on amd64 supported. Ubuntu/Fedora/Mint/Debian/Chakra/CentOS/OpenSUSE and Linero is supported. Free support in the discussion forum. See Snowmix in action on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/Snowmix4video

Unix-based preparation and analysis toolbox for molecular simulations
Unix-based preparation and analysis toolbox for Nanomaterials and Room Temperature Ionic Liquids in Bulk and Slab using bash scripts, Gromacs tools and Matlab functions. NaRIBaS provides a framework that decouples user input parameter and terminal based command lines. NaRIBaS does not replace a simulation software and specific analysis tools like Gromacs, but it allows iterative repetition of tasks while changing specific input parameter. The toolbox is to be understood as a scripting framework rather than a black-box software. Task specific input and preparation or analysis function, are easy expandable to meet the scientific characteristic of constant changing properties. Concepts for efficiently storing and analysing large files in conjunction with graphical visualization and numerical data processing are presented in a Manual. A documented script collection that allows reproducing all simulations and analysis results presented in the Doctoral thesis of the author.

A simple project for creating hosting server-a-like live distribution
The idea is creating a simple and easy to install debian based secure system distibuted in LAMP stack as well and LNMP (nginx), with support for 32-64 bit cpus and small-large ram. Initial Stage: Creating stable live systems Second Stage: mod_mono and php coexistance, RoR, manage users/groups/packages scripts and system monitoring system, custom graphics Third Stage BUilding entire CnCP system (CnCp's not cPanel in old UNIX fashion), a web interface to create/manage and deploy users/accounts/monitoring on this server. You are more than welcome to help (developing/deploying/design/administration/words of wisdom/whatever you think you can do) Project current status is: Initial stage - > Alpha, virtualbox image of the system, when show some stable and secure properties will be released as livecd aswell (vmdk on its way)
