Clonezilla is a partition and disk imaging/cloning program similar to True Image®. It saves and restores only used blocks in hard drive. Two types of Clonezilla are available, Clonezilla live and Clonezilla SE (Server Edition).

Automation of Unit and System Tests. Tests can be implemented in any language and on many platforms. The flexible approach enables the inclusion of many types of tests, such as memory leak checks (using valgrind), coding rule checks, complexity checks, etc. Tests are run by a simple call to hwut in a base directory of a project. In particular for C, HWUT supports make file generation using 'sos' and 'sols' modes. Remote control-able function stubs may be generated using the 'stub' mode. Test cases can be generated using the 'gen' mode, and state machine walkers by the 'sm_walker' mode. Over the last decade HWUT has matured towards a full fledged unit test tool for a wide variety of applications.

Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) in solution is a common low-resolution method which can efficiently complement high-resolution information obtained by crystallography or NMR. Sample monodispersity is key to reliable SAXS data interpretation and model building. Beamline setups with inline high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) are particularly useful for accurate profiling of heterogeneous samples. The program DATASW performs averaging of individual data frames from HPLC-SAXS experiment using a sliding window of a user-specified size, calculates overall parameters (I(0), Rg, Dmax and MW) and predicts the folding state (folded/unfolded) of the sample. Applications of DATASW are illustrated for several proteins with various oligomerization behaviors recorded at different beamlines. A Perl based interpreter for a language which is a blend of Forth and APL. The power of lang5 stems from its arrays operations in conjunction with the underlying Forth programming paradigm of bottom up programming.

GridSheet is a command line-based printable graphing paper generator, allowing user to generate quadrille paper with custom page size, background color, margin, grid spacing, line thickness, and line color; with two different line styles supported on the same grid. Output format is PDF 1.3. Other than command-line program, it also come with a CGI front end that can be installed as a web application, allowing intranet users to generate graphing paper from their web browser. GridSheet is written in Perl with no dependency on third-party modules, thus works on any platform with Perl 5.6+ interpreter available, including GNU/Linux, UNIX, Microsoft Windows, and DOS.
