Game Programming Assignment 2
The scope of the project is the the development of a game addressing the so called "Bergfest" at the Ilmenau Technical University.
A 3D game engine that integrates a graphics renderer (Ogre) as well as including physics (PhysX) and sound (FMOD) capabilities. The engine also supports a variety of scripting features through lua/luabind interfaces.
An 3D space ship game, as a re-make of the original space invaders. Using 3D models for the ships, and raw terrain files. It is an Ogre 3D based project, Ode library for the physics, FMOD for the music layer and RakNet for the network layer.
This project is my second 3D product.
Travel the lands, take quests from kings, delve into ancient ruins, and battle strange creatures in this new RPG. Features an automatically generated world to ensure replayability and tactical combat to keep players on their toes.
