OpenJUMP is a community driven fork of JUMP the "Java Unified Mapping Platform" GIS software. The original JUMP was developed by Vivid Solutions, released under GPL2 in 2003 and discontinued in 2006. During 2004 already some enthusiastic developers joined together to enhance further the features of JUMP. They launched an independent development branch called OpenJUMP. The name gives credit to the original JUMP development, and at the same time describes the objectives of this project to be fully open to anyone wanting to contribute. These days OpenJUMP is developed and maintained by (some few) volunteers around the globe. Chronicle Wire is a Wire Format abstraction library. Chronicle Wire uses Chronicle Bytes for bytes manipulation, and Chronicle Core for low-level JVM access. Gameboy emulator in Java 8
Coffee GB is a Gameboy Color emulator written in Java 8. It's meant to be a development exercise. More info can be found in the blog post. First I implemented all the Gameboy CPU opcodes. It’s not exactly the Z80, but it’s pretty close. As a reference, I’ve used the GameBoy CPU Manual - later on I discovered that it has a few typos and is not specific enough for some of the operations. After implementing the opcodes and memory (modelled by an int[] array) I was eager to check whether it’s possible to run some code on it. I had neither the cartridge nor the GPU emulation yet, so even the simplest game wouldn’t be an option. However, when the original Gameboy starts, it executes a simple 256-bytes program, a kind of firmware displaying the Nintendo logo and self-testing the system. That was exactly the thing I was looking for - after just 3 days I had an application running the Gameboy code! -

Bitsets, also called bitmaps, are commonly used as fast data structures. Unfortunately, they can use too much memory. To compensate, we often use compressed bitmaps. Roaring bitmaps are compressed bitmaps which tend to outperform conventional compressed bitmaps such as WAH, EWAH or Concise. In some instances, roaring bitmaps can be hundreds of times faster and they often offer significantly better compression. They can even be faster than uncompressed bitmaps. -

AndServer is an embedded HTTP server, web framework, and reverse proxy designed for Android applications. It can host static HTML sites directly from a device or expose dynamic HTTP APIs. Its annotation model resembles Spring MVC, including controllers, route mappings, path variables, query values, and request parameters. Developers can configure ports, timeouts, listening addresses, socket factories, and SSL contexts through a builder API. Request objects expose local and remote connection details for application logic and diagnostics. A separate proxy mode maps incoming hosts or addresses to upstream HTTP and HTTPS destinations. The proxy component performs forwarding but does not provide load balancing. -
