Cross-platform DICOM implementation
Grassroots DiCoM is a C++ library for DICOM medical files. It is accessible from Python, C#, Java and PHP. It supports RAW, JPEG, JPEG 2000, JPEG-LS, RLE and deflated transfer syntax. It comes with a super fast scanner implementation to quickly scan hundreds of DICOM files. It supports SCU network operations (C-ECHO, C-FIND, C-STORE, C-MOVE). PS 3.3 & 3.6 are distributed as XML files. It also provides PS 3.15 certificates and password based mecanism to anonymize and de-identify DICOM datasets.
ImageMagick is free software to create, edit, and compose bitmap images in many formats from the commandline or via programming interfaces. Images can be cropped, resized, and combined, effects can be applied, and text, polygons, and curves can be added.
Comet open source tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) search engine.
Comet is an open source tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) sequence database search engine. It identifies peptides by searching MS/MS spectra against sequences present in protein sequence databases. Comet currently exists as a simple Windows or Linux command line binary that only does MS/MS database search. Supported input formats are mzXML, mzML, and ms2 files. Supported output formats are .out, SQT, and pepXML Documentation and project website: http://comet-ms.sourceforge.net
A multi-platform tool to convert RSA private keys between SFM format (modulus, public exponent, private exponent) and CRT format, in both ways.
Libraries and command line tools for medical image processing.
This software provides libraries and command line tools for the processing and analysis of gray scale medical images.
BitMagic - C and C++ library implementing dynamic bitvectors and bit-set algorithms with several types of on-the-fly, adaptive compression. Designed for use in databases, search systems, data-mining algorithms, scientific projects. The core of the library is C++, but it provides C-compatibility wrappers and can be compiled without C++ runtime. Uses optimizations for Intel SSE2, SSE4.2 and AVX2 targets.
ZORRO is a probabilistic masking program that assigns confidence scores to each column in a multiple seqeunce alignment. These scores can then be used to account for alignment accuracy in phylogenetic inference pipelines.
Massively Parallel Graph processing on GPUs -- now part of Blazegraph
Mapgraph is SYSTAP’s disruptive new technology to exploit the main memory bandwidth advantages of GPUs. The early work was co-developed with the University of Utah SCI Institute and has its pedigree in the UINTAH software running on over 750M cores on the TITAN Super Computer. Today, SYSTAP has commercialized this technology into it’s Blazegraph Accelerator and Blazegraph HPC products. Checkout our options for GPU acceleration of graphs or contact us to learn more: https://www.blazegraph.com/product/gpu-accelerated/. The early work was released under the Apache 2 open source license and is available on here at Sourceforge. This work was (partially) funded by the DARPA XDATA program under AFRL Contract #FA8750-13-C-0002 and DARPA Contract #D14PC00029.
A collection of open source tools for developing biometric software. Sponsored by: ImageWare Systems, Inc (www.iwsinc.com).
Decima is a database that was designed to support time-series data mining. It consists of PostgreSQL custom type definition, implementation of GiST index for that type and snowflake database schema.
iHDTV - a tool for uncompressed high definition videoconferencing.
mod_lua is a content generate module for Apache2. It can run in three modes based LUA, 1 is full lua script, 2 is lua-html mixed, another is lua custom handle. All not need any CGI process, lighter and faster. Aimed to embed system and thin webs.
library for Bilinear Pairing
A library encapsulating bilinear pairing computation and group computation in the cyclic groups G_1, G_2, G_T. The bilinear pairing is a bilinear, non-degenerate map between G_1 and G_2 to an element in G_T. The users can build complex pairing-based software by the Pairing library without much knowledge of elliptic curves or pairing or number theory. The library is smaller than 57 Kbytes, suitable for hand held devices. The size is only 3.7% of the size of the BPC library. Maximum supported group size is 911 bits. It is easy to compile the library for Android, ARM or x86 CPU. The API of the library is compatible with the PBC library. It is easy for the PBC library users to port their programs to this library, only with little modification.
Firmware for hardware which may communicate with the "Brick Daemon" ( http://github.com/Tinkerforge/brickd )
The CILogon project facilitates secure access to Cyberinfrastructure (CI) via the community-driven development and support of the MyProxy, GridShib, and GSI-OpenSSH software.
Cybervision is a 3D reconstruction software for SEM images
Project has moved Github at https://github.com/zlogic/cybervision Cybervision is a 3D reconstruction software for SEM images. It's an abandoned project, but can be useful as a working example for many, many technologies, such as: * Qt (including threads, vectors, graphics and OpenGL) * Eigen library (http://eigen.tuxfamily.org/) * libsift library (https://sourceforge.net/projects/libsift/) * OpenCL and of course, 3D reconstruction in general.
Evolutionary Structural Optimization Package (ESOP) consists of software for viewing, analyzing, and optimizing structures containing beam, truss, and membrane plate elements utilizing OpenGL and the Genetic Algorithm (GA). Created for use in M.S. theses
Engineering Calculator Suite
EveAI processes the data assuming that it has already been read by a sensor. Theoretically this should give it reflex behavior. Now the end product should be a self conscious machine future plans are to include the field of robotics.
Energy and environmental monitoring of the server room
The solution GreenHop aims to perform energy and environmental (temperature, humidity, dew point and atmospheric pressure) monitoring of the Data Center server room, providing energy efficiency indicators through green metrics for Data Centers. The GreenHop solution is based on open source software and hardware. The approach of using open source solutions enables its deployment easier and independently of suppliers at the same time makes the solution scalable to the needs of each organization. Thus, we aim to provide ambiental monitoring of the Data Center server room while we keep the system to be customizable to implement and replicate.
