Installing QuakeWorld involves installing Quake, downloading a client, downloading textures, scripts, addons, maps and much more. nQuake does all this for you with a simple online installer. nQuake always installs a completely updated package of QuakeWorld that simply works. nQuake has become the standard within QuakeWorld, so even if you don't like the content of nQuake, it's a very good base for your installation. If you run into problems - simply install nQuake fresh and modify it until you are satisfied. Getting help with issues you bump into will be a lot easier if you started out with nQuake.

Starting from GNOME 3.12, most portability patches are merged upstream, so you can also directly use JHBuild on FreeBSD to check whether an issue is already fixed in the upstream.

Skadoosh
A project that highly compresses android sources and uploads them here
Most Android platform developers have many problems, like slow internet or even low bandwidth. Due to this, they are unable to sync the big chunk of Android source codes from their respective repositories. Hence, most of the new and learning developers just fail at the first step which is downloading the source code! So, I started this project where people needing the sources just submit a pull request of they manifest required. After it is merged, Skadoosh automates the downloading, compressing and uploading of the sources to AndroidFileHost where the developers can download the highly compressed sources. This is done via a webhook and Caddy which keeps watching for changes on my repository. The result is a source tarball having a size which is much smaller than the stuff synced manually. Why name it "Skadoosh"? Well, as the urban dictionary defines it, it is a term used to do stuff at one go. And I love pandas.

p3d is a general data-reduction tool for use with fiber-fed integral-field spectrographs (IFSs); although, the spectrum viewer works with spectrum data cubes of any origin. The tool is built about the proprietary software IDL (Harris/EXELIS; see http://www.harrisgeospatial.com), but can be used without any license. Most slowly running loops are implemented in parallelized C (OpenMP).
