Learn Bash Shell Scripting in a Minute using this Collection of Script
Learn Bash Shell Scripting in a Minute using this Collection of Scripts, which are Real World Examples, ranging from a simple Date Based Theme to a Standalone Kiosk Type User Input Forms. The Learning is based on a "Observe and Understand Strategy", which means you run these scripts, observe their outputs, understand the script that generates them and learn the whole thing. These Scripts cover almost all the basics of bash shell scripting and summarizes them in the last script for user convenience. Notes: 1. You can use Free Programs like 7-zip to open and extract this tar file to your home folder, if your OS does not have a default application 2. Check Google for further inputs on any command usage or to achieve anything further 3. You may ignore errors caused by the date command on your OS, due to difference in syntax supported 4. As always, there is no substitute for a hands on practice session, which gives much confidence

Easily build software for your Linux distro repo
This project is a wrapper script using generated profiles that include any desired patches and files (such as .desktop, icons, and configurations) to easily update, build, and package the software to be made available in your Linux distributions' online repository. So instead of worrying about how to compile for autoconf, autogen, bootstrap, cmake, or the traditional configure, make, make install, for each software title in your repo, builder will take care of all those details so you can focus on the more important parts of your project! Currently, builder can compile for AMD/Intel 32 and 64 bit along with ARM v6/7 (most notably for the Raspberry PI). The available profiles will successfully build for the XiniX and TC Linux distros, but contributions from others for those variants or others are welcomed and will be added to the database for all to use! Profiles can be found at: http://repo.cliquesoft.org/vanilla/1.1/builder/ [TC|XiniX]
High-speed, 3D-friendly, TightVNC-compatible remote desktop software
TurboVNC is a high-performance, enterprise-quality version of VNC based on TightVNC, TigerVNC, and X.org. It contains a variant of Tight encoding that is tuned for maximum performance and compression with 3D applications (VirtualGL), video, and other image-intensive workloads. TurboVNC, in combination with VirtualGL, provides a complete solution for remotely displaying 3D applications with interactive performance. TurboVNC's high-speed encoding methods have been adopted by TigerVNC and libvncserver, and TurboVNC is also compatible with any other TightVNC derivative. TurboVNC forked from TightVNC in 2004 and still covers all of the TightVNC 1.3.x features, but TurboVNC contains numerous feature enhancements and bug fixes relative to TightVNC, and it compresses 3D and video workloads much better than TightVNC while using generally only 5-20% of the CPU time of the latter. Using non-default settings, TurboVNC can also be made to compress 2D workloads as "tightly" as TightVNC.

WordBash is a WordPress clone written in GNU Bash
DEVELOPMENT IS ON HOLD WordBash is a Bash CGI script that looks and acts just like WordPress with many of the basic WordPress features - posts, pages, sidebar, comments, tags, categories, etc. WordBash is a 1300 lines of shell script. It only uses one call to an external program in a limited way - everything else, viewing, saving/filtering comments, etc. is done with just Bash code - No AWK, TR, etc. It's all Bash. WordBash is nearly identical to WordPress with the twenty eleven theme. WordBash has Object Oriented aspects, a Hierarchical File Database, Caching Factory based Web Templates and an Adaptive Extensible Record format. It does not have all WordPress features but it has most of the basics. It looks and feels just like WordPress of 20MB of code! But WordBash is 1300 lines of shell script. More work needs to be done - and I have not released the Admin code (but I will). The design has some flaws but they are easily fixed. The code is "designed for change."

Simple tool for fixing common misspellings, typos
Utility to fix common misspellings, typos in source codes. There are lots of typical misspellings in program codes. Typically they are more eye-catching in the living code but they can easily hide in comments, examples, samples, notes and documentations. With this utility you can fix a large number of them very quickly. Be aware that the utility does not check or fix file names. It can easily happen that a misspelled word is fixed in a file name in a program's code, but the file itself will not be renamed by this utility. And also important to note to be extra careful when fixing public APIs! A manual review is always needed to verify that nothing has been broken.
