Learn Bash Shell Scripting in a Minute using this Collection of Script
Learn Bash Shell Scripting in a Minute using this Collection of Scripts, which are Real World Examples, ranging from a simple Date Based Theme to a Standalone Kiosk Type User Input Forms. The Learning is based on a "Observe and Understand Strategy", which means you run these scripts, observe their outputs, understand the script that generates them and learn the whole thing. These Scripts cover almost all the basics of bash shell scripting and summarizes them in the last script for user convenience. Notes: 1. You can use Free Programs like 7-zip to open and extract this tar file to your home folder, if your OS does not have a default application 2. Check Google for further inputs on any command usage or to achieve anything further 3. You may ignore errors caused by the date command on your OS, due to difference in syntax supported 4. As always, there is no substitute for a hands on practice session, which gives much confidence

DICOM tag modification and routing tool
PRIMAL can be used to route, modify and store DICOM Radiology image files. Typically this tool is put between a image acquisition station (modality) and a PACS to route images and modify the DICOM tags in ways that are not easy to do on the acquisition station but needs to be done prior to the study arriving at the PACS. PRIMAL is designed to turn a Fedora or Redhat Linux server into a DICOM routing appliance. Most information can be viewed through the web interface. Commercial support provided at http://radroutesoft.com/

Easily build software for your Linux distro repo
This project is a wrapper script using generated profiles that include any desired patches and files (such as .desktop, icons, and configurations) to easily update, build, and package the software to be made available in your Linux distributions' online repository. So instead of worrying about how to compile for autoconf, autogen, bootstrap, cmake, or the traditional configure, make, make install, for each software title in your repo, builder will take care of all those details so you can focus on the more important parts of your project! Currently, builder can compile for AMD/Intel 32 and 64 bit along with ARM v6/7 (most notably for the Raspberry PI). The available profiles will successfully build for the XiniX and TC Linux distros, but contributions from others for those variants or others are welcomed and will be added to the database for all to use! Profiles can be found at: http://repo.cliquesoft.org/vanilla/1.1/builder/ [TC|XiniX]
Command validation tool
cmdok checks that specified commands are OK. If command is OK than it exists in PATH and can be run. It is a simple, small and portable Bash script. It is useful in software packages that want to check that some commands exist before trying to run them. See wiki for more information and examples.
Low Power Solar/WindPower Capable -Fast FRee ATSC 8VSB OTA DVR Backend
ffreTv-backend was forked from upstream mythtv ffretv-backend is in transition from Linux---> NetBSD & FreeBSD *The Current Hardware Reference Platform is the RaspberryPi2 on NetBSD 7(armv7hf) *tuner Hardware will be limited to network devices only at first. *Perhaps more later. I will switch/use or upgrade to whatever ARM reference hardware with low power , that works best for this projects design goals. Current Intentions/Design Goals: -Automatic Setup for ATSC 1.0 8VSB/(up to 4 Tuners) EIT Installation using automythsvr shell scripts. -Planned, Automatic DVB EIT installations. -Remote and/or Rural usage scenarios. -Designed for OFFLINE USE. EIT/Embedded Scheduling only. No network connection needed. -Solar Power Design assembly model. -Ultra Low Power (<10Watt Range @5.1vdc) -Solid State Storage Device that supports TRIM Recommended -HDTV -ATSC Over The Air (OTA) Specific*with planning for DVB-T as ATSC updates
This command line utility installs Debian system non-interactively.
PROJECT MOVED: https://github.com/vstavrinov/install-debian ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Boot Live CD, just type install-debian and after 5 minutes You will get bootable system. It supports software RAID and UEFI boot. All settings if not defined in config file or as command line options, will be set to it's defaults either as constant values or evaluated from running system. By default it chooses largest disk for installation. If there are more then one such disk of the same size, it makes RAID array. Separate partitions are used for /boot, and /, and logical volumes for /usr, /var, /tmp and /home. Only minimal disk space are allocated. You should expand (may be done online) logical volumes and file systems when You need to get more disk space. Also there are option to install system into single pre-mount point. In this case partitioning and mounting every part leave on Your own.

Retro text adventure fun. 255 dungeons, 5 minutes to play...
A classical text adventure game for the bash shell. The map is created depending on the name of the dungeon master you choose. Your task: Find "Bools Lost" bit which is hidden somewhere on a 2d map. You start in the wilderness. Here, each move you make takes one step. Dungeons are shortcuts. Eache move in the dungeon takes two steps thus making you move faster. Once in a while you find water, fire or hints on in which direction the lost bit can be found. If you run out of water, you die. If you run out of fire, you cant see anything and may run into traps! Your goal is to find the lost bit in the fewest possible number of steps. Good luck!

Cress is a comprehensive toolset for graphical service/workflow design
Cress (Communication Representation Employing Systematic Specification) allows graphical description of a wide variety of services such as in data communications/telecommunications, but Cress is not limited to this. The approach allows services to be described graphically as (work)flows of activities. Cress diagrams are automatically translated into formal languages for rigorous analysis and verification, and are also automatically translated into implementation languages for deployment and validation. Cress aims to make service design as easy as possible without requiring specialist development knowledge. It simplifies service creation to drawing diagrams, clicking buttons and defining a few tool parameters. All key functions of Cress can be controlled from the Chive diagram editor. Cress is written using portable and widely used languages (Perl and Java). It can be extended by a developer for other kinds of services that can be characterised by activity flows.
