Based on reference-accuracy equations of state and transport property correlations for refrigerants like Water, CO2, R134a, Nitrogen, Argon, Ammonia, Air, R404a, R410a, Propane and many others. A selection of secondary working fluid properties are also available. Can also make use of REFPROP when available. In addition, calculations for Humid Air Properties based on ASHRAE RP-1485 are provided. Wrappers are available for MATLAB, Octave, Python, C#, Fortran and many more.

Routines for wavefront propagation in IDL, Matlab, and Python
PROPER is a library of routines for the propagation of wavefronts through an optical system using Fourier-based methods. It was developed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for modeling stellar coronagraphs, but it can be applied to other optical systems were diffraction propagation is of concern. It is currently available for IDL (Interactive Data Language), Matlab and Python (2.7 & 3.x). It includes routines for generating complex apertures and obscurations and aberrations (Zernike & PSD-defined). It includes a model of a deformable mirror for wavefront control. The routines perform near and far field propagation with automatic selection of propagators. The latest version is v3.0a. released on 24 Jan 2018.

A tool able to simulate gene-environment and gene-gene interactions.
Gene-Environment iNteraction Simulator 2 (GENS2) simulates interactions among two genetic and one environmental factor and also allows for epistatic interactions. GENS2 is based on data with realistic patterns of linkage disequilibrium, and imposes no limitations either on the number of individuals to be simulated or on number of non-predisposing genetic/environmental factors to be considered. The GENS2 tool is able to simulate gene-environment and gene-gene interactions. To make the Simulator more intuitive, the input parameters are expressed as standard epidemiological quantities. GENS2 is written in Python language and takes advantage of operators and modules provided by the simuPOP simulation environment. It can be used through a graphical or a command-line interface.

A copy of the history was successfully scrubbed and then hosted at github. -------- Eukaryotic pathogens have complicated and dynamic genomes. To facilitate analysis of copy number variations (CNV), single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), and loss of heterozygosity (LOH) events in Candida albicans, the most common human fungal pathogen, we developed a pipeline for analyzing diverse genome-scale datasets from microarray, deep sequencing, and restriction site associated DNA sequence experiments for clinical and laboratory strains. The YMAP pipeline automatically illustrates genome-wide information in a single intuitive figure and is readily modified for the analysis of other categories of data and other pathogen species with small genomes.
