openrave plugins for constrained manipulation
The Constrained Manipulation Planning Suite (CoMPS) consists of three openrave plugins and associated data files. The planning and inverse kinematics algorithms in this suite are designed for articulated robots like robotic arms and humanoids. CoMPS is implemented in C++ and compiles in linux only. There are also several examples in python and matlab that show how to interface with openrave to use the plugins in CoMPS. It has been tested on all Ubuntu version from the last few years and will probably work with most modern linux distributions. Please see the wiki for installation and examples: https://sourceforge.net/p/comps/wiki/Home/
A model that projects climate change impacts to coral reefs
The COMBO model projects climate change impacts to coral reefs based on estimated future changes in sea-surface temperature and ocean acidification. Outputs include estimated timing of bleaching events, changes in coral reef cover, and associated changes in economic values.
Build system And Software Implementation Standard
The CMake Build system And Software Implementation Standard makes it easy to create sharable software and libraries that work together. This is accomplished by combining and documenting some of the best practices and utilities available. More importantly, BASIS supplies a fully integrated suite of functionality to make the whole process seamless! Check out the web site for more information. The Git repository of this project is hosted on GitHub. Some interesting facts about this project can be found on Ohloh at https://www.ohloh.net/p/cmake-basis.
A shared memory parallel sparse matrix library including Sparse BLAS.
librsb is a library for sparse matrix computations featuring the Recursive Sparse Blocks (RSB) matrix format. This format allows cache efficient and multi-threaded (that is, shared memory parallel) operations on large sparse matrices. The most common operations necessary to iterative solvers are available, e.g.: matrix-vector multiplication, triangular solution, rows/columns scaling, diagonal extraction / setting, blocks extraction, norm computation, formats conversion. The RSB format is especially well suited for symmetric and transposed multiplication variants. On these variants, librsb has been found to be faster than Intel MKL's implementation for CSR. Most numerical kernels code is auto generated, and the supported numerical types can be chosen by the user at build time. librsb implements the Sparse BLAS standard, as specified in the BLAS Forum documents.
SPHERES Facility software for scientists
<Temporarily Unavailable Online> This project is aiming at completing a library of open codes (mainly based on MATLAB at present) to deal with Dipoles-Cavity Interaction problems. Common methods, including Green's function method and Master Equation method et al, will be applied to the coding. Samples of calculations and standard comparison with publications using the library will be given for demonstration of the usage. Interface to some commonly used software, such as Lumerical FDTD Solutions, will also be developed in the project. This project is titled under nanophotonics, quantum optics, nano-optics, computational physics and physics.
Compton simulate the interactions betwen a laser beam and an electron beam to create high energy photons (X-rays).
Coho is a reachability analysis platform for high-dimensional, nonlinear hybrid systems, especially for analog circuit verification. This tools has been applied to verify many circuits, including toggle, arbiter, flipflop, celement, oscillator, etc.
SparesPOP is a MATLAB implementation of a sparse semidefinite programming (SDP) relaxation method proposed for polynomial optimization problems (POPs). Please send a message to email@example.com if you have any question and/or request. We also release SparsePOPC++ and SparsePOPC++-windows. Both implementations are SparsePOP which does not use MATLAB, but only C++. In particular, SparsePOPC++-windows contains a binary file which works on Windows, and does not require to compile.
Elastic network models (ENMs) have been shown to generate the dominant functional equilibrium motions of biomolecules quickly and efficiently. MAVEN simplifies ENM generation, allows for diverse models to be used, and facilitates useful analyses.
