Build system And Software Implementation Standard
The CMake Build system And Software Implementation Standard makes it easy to create sharable software and libraries that work together. This is accomplished by combining and documenting some of the best practices and utilities available. More importantly, BASIS supplies a fully integrated suite of functionality to make the whole process seamless! Check out the web site for more information. The Git repository of this project is hosted on GitHub. Some interesting facts about this project can be found on Ohloh at https://www.ohloh.net/p/cmake-basis.
The purpose of this program is to provide the user with a convenient algorithm for automatic Independent Component (IC) selection with respect to the contributions of the ICs to a certain event-related brain potential (ERP). www.jan-wessel.de
CQT-FW is an audio analisys tool for multiple pitch recognition
CQT-FW(Constant Q transform with Fixed length Window) is a time-frequency transform for multiple pitch recognition in audio signals(songs). The transform CQT(Constant Q Transform) provide analisys frequencies in a exponencial way, like music does, but it have problems with the time resolution. In CQT-FW we have the same frequency resolution as CQT, but with fixed length windows in time, what leads to a constant time resolution as well. And more, time and frequency resolution are not dependent like in CQT end DFT transforms. We also propose a post processing witch eliminate the high order harmonics, leaving only the fundamental frequencies. The transform got good results in a good range of frequencies, but still have problems in low frequencies.
A probabilistic prediction system of protein phosphorylation sites
CRUMp is based on a kernel-based learning method called Classification Relevance Units Machine (CRUM). Given an input set of protein sequences in FASTA format, the system outputs the position, residue type (S, T, or Y), and the estimated probability of each tested site being phosphorylatable. Latest downloadable files: - crump-0.2.0.tar.gz: CRUMp GNU Octave package - crump-0.2.0.zip: CRUMp MATLAB script - crumptestset.fasta: A testing dataset in FASTA format. The sequence headers list the accession number of the protein sequence and the position numbers of known phosphorylation sites. Note that CRUMp may predict additional phosphorylation sites that have not been experimentally verified yet. The testing dataset is from Biswas et al. 2010, http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2105/11/273/additional.

Implementation of Cascaded layering framework for Mixed Feedback Loop
Cell Motility Analysis Package analyzes timelapse sequences of moving cells. Various quantitites characterizing motility are calculated, including normal velocity of the membrane, cell contact area, and spatio-temporal auto-correlation functions.
This is the prototype version of software for robust detecting and segmentation of cell nuclei in 3D fluorescence labeled microscopy images. First release coming soon...
Cell decomposition is one of the first applicable solution for path planning - robot path planning. The algorithm aims to find free areas (cells not occupied by obstacles) in the configuration space, and build a graph of adjacency for these cells.
This is a tool(MATLAB code) to find out the least-weighing path in a maze containing coloured squares where every colour has its own specified weight/cost. By default, it is programmed to calculate the path in a 8x8 square maze.
Isotope assisted discovery of metal chelating agents from LC-MS data
ChelomEx identifies chromatographic features of metal complexes and associated free ligands or other related adducts in high-resolution LC-MS data. A built-in graphical user interface and compound library aid in the efficient evaluation of the results. If you use ChelomEx for your research, please cite our Analytical Chemistry paper that describes the software (http://dx.doi.org/10.1021/ac503000e). To comment, send bug reports or suggestions for additional features to be implemented in future versions please send me a message. The current version ChelomEx 1.2 from 06 January 2016 includes the following changes to the original version (ChelomEx 1.0): - function to filter discovered isotope patterns after the first analysis step (isotope pattern search), accessible in the Isotope Pattern toolbar (v1.2) - updates for compatibility with MatLab versions after 2014b (v1.2) - siderophore database update (v1.1) - can now also analyze negative mode data (v1.1) - bug fixes (v1.1)
A package for Clifford algebra of a n-dimensional Euclidean vector space can be a useful computational tool since allows the manipulation of mathematical objects. It includes visualisation elements of a Clifford algebra in the 3-dimensional space.
A toolbox for computing with Clifford algebras in MATLAB
This is a toolbox (software library) for computing with matrices of Clifford algebra multivectors in MATLAB. It is designed to handle numerical computations with matrices as far as these are defined for matrices of multivectors. The toolbox is designed to work in the same way as MATLAB's own functions by overloading standard MATLAB functions with Clifford multivector versions. The toolbox can compute with any Clifford algebra with signature (p,q,r) but only with one algebra at a time. It is possible to iterate over algebras (switching between algebras is quite quick) and existing variables are not destroyed when switching to a new algebra (although such variables cannot be used under the new algebra - any attempt to do so is detected and will raise an error). There is a (low traffic) mailing list for release announcements etc. See the Mailing Lists menu to subscribe.
The project contains a matlab package for generating poised lattices and coarse-fine interpolation matrices for high-order adaptive mesh refinement. It accompanies the paper by Qinghai Zhang submitted to Comput. Methods Appl. Mech. Engrg.
