    CQT-FW

    CQT-FW is an audio analisys tool for multiple pitch recognition

    CQT-FW(Constant Q transform with Fixed length Window) is a time-frequency transform for multiple pitch recognition in audio signals(songs). The transform CQT(Constant Q Transform) provide analisys frequencies in a exponencial way, like music does, but it have problems with the time resolution. In CQT-FW we have the same frequency resolution as CQT, but with fixed length windows in time, what leads to a constant time resolution as well. And more, time and frequency resolution are not dependent like in CQT end DFT transforms. We also propose a post processing witch eliminate the high order harmonics, leaving only the fundamental frequencies. The transform got good results in a good range of frequencies, but still have problems in low frequencies.

    CRUMp

    A probabilistic prediction system of protein phosphorylation sites

    CRUMp is based on a kernel-based learning method called Classification Relevance Units Machine (CRUM). Given an input set of protein sequences in FASTA format, the system outputs the position, residue type (S, T, or Y), and the estimated probability of each tested site being phosphorylatable. Latest downloadable files: - crump-0.2.0.tar.gz: CRUMp GNU Octave package - crump-0.2.0.zip: CRUMp MATLAB script - crumptestset.fasta: A testing dataset in FASTA format. The sequence headers list the accession number of the protein sequence and the position numbers of known phosphorylation sites. Note that CRUMp may predict additional phosphorylation sites that have not been experimentally verified yet.     ChelomEx identifies chromatographic features of metal complexes and associated free ligands or other related adducts in high-resolution LC-MS data. A built-in graphical user interface and compound library aid in the efficient evaluation of the results.     Clifford Multivector Toolbox

    A toolbox for computing with Clifford algebras in MATLAB

    This is a toolbox (software library) for computing with matrices of Clifford algebra multivectors in MATLAB. It is designed to handle numerical computations with matrices as far as these are defined for matrices of multivectors. The toolbox is designed to work in the same way as MATLAB's own functions by overloading standard MATLAB functions with Clifford multivector versions. The toolbox can compute with any Clifford algebra with signature (p,q,r) but only with one algebra at a time. From version 2 of the toolbox onwards, computation is also supported with conformal geometric algebras (CGA), based on an underlying Clifford algebra to provide the numerical computation. The additional functionality does not impact on the original Clifford algebra functions of the toolbox.     DSeg software

    A MATLAB program to segment filamentous bacteria and hyphae structures

    The analysis of microscopy image has been the basis to our current understanding of the cellular growth and morphogenesis. The quantitative evaluation of morphological changes in the biological processes is therefore important to characterize cell structures. Here we present an image analysis tool DSeg to overcome the difficulties in finding complicated elongated cell shapes by using time-lapse data and cell morphological constraints. A fast binary level-set based algorithm is implemented for extracting object contour and refining shapes. The software is implemented in MATLAB for segmenting and tracking of cell contours from various microscopy systems.
