approximate Bayesian computation for stochastic differential equations
A MATLAB toolbox for approximate Bayesian computation (ABC) in stochastic differential equation models. It performs approximate Bayesian computation for stochastic models having latent dynamics defined by stochastic differential equations (SDEs) and not limited to the "state-space" modelling framework. Both one- and multi-dimensional SDE systems are supported and partially observed systems are easily accommodated. Variance components for the "measurement error" affecting the data/observations can be estimated. A 50-pages Reference Manual is provided with two case-studies implemented and discussed. Calculates frequencies/modes from an nwchem generated hessian
This is a simple Octave script which calculates the frequencies/normal modes from an nwchem generated hessian matrix. The advantage of having a separate script for this is that you can use the same hessian to calculate frequencies for different isotopic substitutions i.e. you only have to run one nwchem calculation. The script is finished in its current form in the sense that it is feature complete. Feel free to amend, translate, copy, steal etc. See the README in the code repository for instructions. Installation: Simply download the file and start Octave in the download directory.

BLIM Toolbox is a collection of tools for the extraction and analysis of visual features in Argus images of the nearshore zone. The toolbox provides an implementation of the BarLine Intensity Mapper (BLIM) algorithm, which extracts high-intensity bands from Argus images. Also, several analysis and export functions are included in this toolbox, such as timestack plots and movies. The main incentive for the development of this toolbox was reducing the amount of time and effort a user spends on image analysis. This is achieved by a user-friendly graphical interface, functionality for browsing through images and results, flexible import and export functions, and the possibility to add user interface components and additional implementations of algorithms. Because BLIM Toolbox is meant to work with other Argus software, it is programmed in Matlab. For the BLIM Toolbox to run, Matlab needs to be installed. However, knowledge of Matlab programming is not required for using the toolbox.

GPS Date Converter (GDC) is a program to convert six different date formats, including: (1) Decimal year, (2) Year, Month, Day, (3) Year, Day of year, (4) GPS Week, Day of week, (5) Julian date, and (6) Modified Julian date.
