Identify co-occuring genes in cyanobacteria
The SimilarityViewer allows the identification of genes co-occurring in subsets of 77 cyanobacterial organisms. The software is available as a MATLAB script and as stand-alone applications for Mac, Linux, and Windows computers. To install this program download the zip file appropriate for your system, unzip it, and follow the instructions in the README file. Geoelectrical data inversion using Neuro Fuzzy technique
Geoelectrical resistivity data is used for estimating the subsurface features of earth. It is very difficult to estimate the depth and true resistivity analytically, therefore many mathematical models approximates the result. The approximation relies on many parameters as the heterogenous model of earth is difficult to map. Conventional interpretation algorithm mostly uses the forward modelling technique which is limited for different lithologies. Here we presented ResinvANFIS v1.0 software platform to invert any type (A, Q, K, H or any mixed data types) of resistivity data having AB/2 and apparent resistivity data as input. This kind of generalised platform has not been done elsewhere to invert data directly.

NAIL is a toolset for network analysis in the life sciences
The NAIL (Network Analysis and Inference Library) project is a set of tools for solving problems in the life sciences using network (graph) approaches. NAIL includes methods for creating networks, analysing and comparing networks, and for visualising or presenting the results. These methods are designed as self-contained platform-independent components which can be called either from another program, or from a command line. Modelling biological systems as networks (graphs) is becoming a common approach in the life sciences. However, different algorithms typically use different input and output data types, are implemented using different technologies, and are demonstrated by application to different biological problems. Because of this, the primary goal of the NAIL project is to provide a straightforward way to use network approaches in the life sciences, and to apply a variety of techniques quickly and easily on the same data.
