  • Searching for Affordable Business Phone Service? Searching for Affordable Business Phone Service? Icon
Searching for Affordable Business Phone Service? Icon

If you're on the hunt for business phone service that is reliable and budget-friendly, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is your answer.

Today's small-to-medium-sized (SMB) businesses and large enterprises are saving on their monthly communications costs by making one simple decision: to switch to a VoIP service solution from their old, outdated Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS). By choosing a new VoIP service, these companies enjoy the flexibility, reliability, call features, and audio quality that only a VoIP service can provide. Plus, they cut their phone bill by up to 70%!

  • MIST Icon

    MIST

A MATLAB toolbox to simulate optical systems

Modal Interferometer Simulation Tool (MIST) is a MATLAB toolbox that can simulate arbitrary resonant optical systems in the paraxial beam approximation. It allows the user to define any optical setup (composed typically of laser sources, mirrors, lenses, electro-optical modulators and detectors) and to compute the static laser field at any point. It uses a Hermite-Gauss modal decomposition to simulate diffraction limited optics. This tool is being developed mainly for simulation of large scale interferometers with resonant cavities used for the detection of gravitational waves. Subscribe to the mailing list for updates and news. If you use MIST in your own simulation work, please cite is as G. Vajente, "Fast modal simulation of paraxial optical systems: the MIST open source toolbox" Classical and Quantum Gravity 30, 075014 (2013)

    Learning Stochastic Discrete Event Systems

Stochastic discrete event system analysis and verification are essential in order to ensure reliability in such systems. However, models that cannot be constructed with an hand-made process need to be learned. Thus, the SDES toolbox proposes an automated solution that is embedded in Matlab to learning and analisis generalized semi-Markov processes.

  • Rand Tree Icon

    Rand Tree

    Random Tree Generator for MatLab

RandTree is a MatLab based tree simulator program where the algorithm is based on Honda's model. We have used probabilistic generation of branches in order to simulate visually realistic tree structures. This program is designed to generate branching structures with bifurcation branching pattern (sympodial branching). By changing the probabilities and branching angles, you can generate different shapes of trees.

Converts 3-D COMSOL mph file to a Tecplot compatible file

The MATLAB m.file will export data contained within a 3-D COMSOL mph file to a datafile in the format of an ascii TECPLOT file. The underlying engine for this export is the COMSOL - "LiveLink for MATLAB" module, with Matlab as the manager for the file import and export.

  • AKtoolbox Icon

    AKtoolbox

Matlab Toolbox for coevolution analysis of multiple sequence alignment

AK Toolbox is a Matlab Toolbox for co-evolution analysis for protein Multiple Sequence Alignment (MSA) distributed under Simplified BSD License. The aim of AK toolbox is to provide a set of Matlab functions, which are independent of Matlab Bioinforamtics Toolbox, for coevolution anaylsis for MSA. At present, co-evolution methods available in this package are Statistical Coupling Analysis (SCA), Explicit Likelihood of Subset Covariance (ELSC), Mutual Information (MI), Observed Minus Expected Square method (OMES), McLanhlan Based Substitution Correlation (MCBASC), Direct-coupling analysis (DCA) and logR. Enclosed in this package is also an archive of different Bioinformatics matrices.

  • MetaOpen

    Metabolomics Bioinformatics Tools

Our bioanalytical research exploits practical and efficient high-throughput technologies for the analyses of complex mixtures derived from living systems. This will facilitate the development of preventive, predictive and personalized medicine for specific diseases and will promote health and wellness. We use a number of high-throughput analytical platforms including multidimensional liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (MDLC-MS) for proteomics, and for metabolomics; liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), and comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GCxGC/TOF-MS). Each type of analysis affords limited analyte coverage of molecules present in a patient sample and therefore provides only a partial molecular profile for an individual patient. These diverse analytical data must be integrated with advanced bioinformatics methods for accurate evaluation of health and detection of disease susceptibility.

  • MatrixUser Icon

    MatrixUser

A Multi-functional GUI-based Program for Image Processing and Analysis

Most of the medical images (e.g. CT, MRI, PET, etc.) comprises multiple frames which represent slices, phases, timing etc. from the same imaging object. Those images can be saved as multidimensional matrices in Matlab thanks to Matlab's powerful support of multidimensional data representation. However, within Matlab, most of image manipulation functions are limited or tailored for processing two-dimensional matrix. The MatrixUser is a software package which features functions designed and optimized specifically for manipulating multidimensional real or complex data matrix. MatrixUser provides a nice graphical environment for easily performing image analysis tasks including multidimensional image display, matrix (image stack) processing and rendering etc. MatrixUser is a great lightweight tool for users who are working in image processing field under Matlab. Note: _____________________________ MatrixUser v2.2 has been released. _______3pm, Aug. 30, 2014, UTC-06:00__
