General purpose de novo molecular design software
Although many potential applications exist in chemistry and material science, software to allow the general application of de novo structure-based design methods in supramolecular chemistry was non-existent. To address this limitation we created HostDesigner, a code that builds and evaluates millions of molecules in minutes. This command line executable builds 3D molecular structures by covalently connecting user-defined input fragments with pre-computed hydrocarbon fragments from a library. The results are ranked with respect to desired geometric constraints defined by the user. See the User's Manual for further details including a list of literature citations for example applications. Stress intensity factor (SIF) calculation from crack tip displacements
The code implements Muskhelishvili's complex function approach to calculate 2D stress intensity factors (modes I+II) from crack tip displacement fields. Surface displacements can be used with a plane stress elastic model. The code uses power/Fourier series expansion and a conformal mapping of an ellipse onto a circle.
Flexfortip is an alternative of namelist which supports nesting tags.
You may think namelist of Fortran90 is poor when you want treate a complex input in fortran. Flexfortip is one of solutions in that case. By using nesting tags, you can treat a complex input. This project provides you with three fortran modules ("parse", "hash" and "array") including source codes. Parse module depends on hash module and array module. If you want use array variables and/or hash variable in fortran, array module and hash module may help you. Operations such as push, pop and join are supported in array module, and operations such a insert lookup, delete, defined, deys are supported in hash module. These source codes are provided under 2-clause BSD license. So, feel free to use it.
