Denise is a cycle accurate and platform independant c64 / amiga emulator. At the moment ONLY c64 cartridge and prg emulation is available and features like savestates are not available. It's currently not suited for gaming. My motivation for this project is understanding how it works and write clean and easy readable code. I dont't sacrifice accuracy for excecution speed, so you need a fast machine to get it fullspeed. The project is influenced by the design of the emulator higan. Denise consists of 4 main modules. QuadRay-engine
Realtime raytracer using SIMD on ARM, MIPS, PPC and x86
QuadRay engine is a realtime raytracing project aimed at full SIMD utilization on ARM, MIPS, Power and x86 architectures. The efficient use of SIMD is achieved by processing four rays at a time to match SIMD register width (hence the name). The rendering core of the engine is written on a unified SIMD assembler allowing single assembler code to be compatible with different processor architectures, thus reducing the need to maintain multiple parallel versions. At present, Intel SSE/SSE2/SSE4 and AVX/AVX2/AVX-512 (32/64-bit x86 ISAs), ARMv7 NEON/NEONv2, ARMv8 AArch32/AArch64 NEON (32/64-bit ARM ISAs), MIPS 32/64-bit r5/r6 MSA and Power 32/64-bit VMX/VSX (little/big-endian ISAs) are mostly implemented, although scalar improvements, horizontal reductions, wider SIMD vectors with zeroing/merging predicates in 3/4-operand instructions, are planned as extensions to current 2/3-operand SPMD-driven vertical SIMD ISA. CCruncher is a project for quantifying portfolio credit risk using the copula approach. It is a framework consisting of two elements: a technical document that explains the theory, and a software program that implements it. CCruncher evaluates the portfolio credit risk by sampling the portfolio loss distribution and computing the Expected Loss (EL), Value at Risk (VaR) and Expected Shortfall (ES) statistics. The portfolio losses are obtained simulating the default times of obligors and simulating the EADs and LGDs of their assets.
