  • GEMS IoT

    IoT Device, Gateway, Server platform

Bi-directional Wireless Sensor Line Protocol(Bi-WSLP) is a sensor network communication protocol based on a line topology, which is common in outdoor monitoring cases for IoT(Internet of Things). Bi-WSLP runs fast and provides a response rapidly, yet it takes a small code size occupies small memory. Bi-WSLP can be easily ported to various hardware platforms because it is coded in C, which is the most popular programming language for embedded systems. In addition, Bi-WSLP allows transmission of large-size data such as still images as well as common sensor data such as temperature and humidity. Bi-WSLP can be modified to conform to the IEEE 802.15.4 standard. Bi-WSLP supports bidirectional data transmission, so it allows a user not only to control the operation of sensor nodes immediately, but also to receive responses to the user almost in real-time.

  • gdk_imlib2 Icon

    gdk_imlib2

    gdk_imlib image loader for gtk+-2.0

For those of us who have legacy software, the deprecation of gdk_imlib in gtk+-2.0 and gtk+-2.0 is a headache. It would be a lot quicker to port legacy software packages like this if gdk_imlib were available. This package, is a port of gdk-imlib to gtk+-2.0 which preserves all the feature of the original (gtk+-1.2) libraries. It means that if you have old graphics code you don't have to waste time re-writing it using GdkPixbuf or Cairo surfaces. Of course, we are not advocating using this library for new code, but you can if you prefer to use the gdk_imlib API for image loading & manipulation.

  • hwmonitor

Show server load-average chart and run pre-define command remotely

I'm a HW Support and used cacti, zabbix, but they are too "strong", sometimes I just want to know server "worked fine", and show me a basicly load-average chart, that's enough. And the other hand, I need run command (like: "top", "iostat", "date" etc.) remotely and show it out to the webpage. The hwmonitor(writen in C) is a simple daemon, you can define some command-name(like: show_top= top -b -n1), telnet to this daemon and input your def-command(like: show_top), hwmonitor will return the info. And hwclient(include in this project, writen in C) connect to hwmonitor, input a define command-name to get server load-average and IO-idle each 60 seconds(you can change it) into a text file. hwgraphic (include in this project, writen in PHP) read the text file(generated by hwclient) and show the load-average chart and IO-idle chart.

  • Bolder Dash

    A cross-platform «Boulder Dash»-like game in Oberon/Component Pascal

A goal of this project is not only produce a small funny game. It demonstates the power of Oberon technologies, shows how a game can be written to be launched under such different platforms. Portability is a strong feature of Oberons, and I use it, - Dash has portable game code (common for defferent platforms, written in Oberon-1) and non-portable layers to a hardware platform. Dash shows the portability and cross-platform in widely look, more than mainstream solutions can propose us. Yes, I believe that Oberon technologies are very perspective for future.
