Gaming console OS designed to run on desktops
Drauger OS is a gaming console OS meant to be run on desktops. It brings the console and PC gaming experiences together onto one unified platform while offering insane speeds and low latency for the large install size. Drauger OS uses a pre-configured Xfce desktop to allow the user interface to be more like a gaming console for those who are used to that. Furthermore, Drauger OS supports desktop Linux apps and games, as well as Windows apps and games through the Wine/PlayonLinux compatibility layer and front end. Finally, Drauger comes with Steam pre-installed so the user can play games they are familiar with on the Drauger OS platform.

Automated integer factorization
YAFU (with assistance from other free software) uses the most powerful modern algorithms (and implementations of them) to factor input integers in a completely automated way. The automation within YAFU is state-of-the-art, combining factorization algorithms in an intelligent and adaptive methodology that minimizes the time to find the factors of arbitrary input integers. Most algorithm implementations are multi-threaded, allowing YAFU to fully utilize multi- or many-core processors (including SNFS, GNFS, SIQS, and ECM). YAFU is primarily a command-line driven tool. You provide the number to factor and, via screen output and log files, YAFU will provide you the factors. There is also an interactive environment similar to MATLAB or PARI/GP, where you can type commands and store results. YAFU is very customizable, through the optional use of many many command line parameters and a very capable expression interpreter.

High-speed, 3D-friendly, TightVNC-compatible remote desktop software
TurboVNC is a high-performance, enterprise-quality version of VNC based on TightVNC, TigerVNC, and X.org. It contains a variant of Tight encoding that is tuned for maximum performance and compression with 3D applications (VirtualGL), video, and other image-intensive workloads. TurboVNC, in combination with VirtualGL, provides a complete solution for remotely displaying 3D applications with interactive performance. TurboVNC's high-speed encoding methods have been adopted by TigerVNC and libvncserver, and TurboVNC is also compatible with any other TightVNC derivative. TurboVNC forked from TightVNC in 2004 and still covers all of the TightVNC 1.3.x features, but TurboVNC contains numerous feature enhancements and bug fixes relative to TightVNC, and it compresses 3D and video workloads much better than TightVNC while using generally only 5-20% of the CPU time of the latter. Using non-default settings, TurboVNC can also be made to compress 2D workloads as "tightly" as TightVNC.
SIMD-accelerated libjpeg-compatible JPEG codec library
libjpeg-turbo is a JPEG image codec that uses SIMD instructions (MMX, SSE2, NEON, AltiVec) to accelerate baseline JPEG compression and decompression on x86, x86-64, ARM, and PowerPC systems. On such systems, libjpeg-turbo is generally 2-6x as fast as libjpeg, all else being equal. On other types of systems, libjpeg-turbo can still outperform libjpeg by a significant amount, by virtue of its highly-optimized Huffman coding routines. In many cases, the performance of libjpeg-turbo rivals that of proprietary high-speed JPEG codecs. libjpeg-turbo implements both the traditional libjpeg API as well as the less powerful but more straightforward TurboJPEG API. libjpeg-turbo also features colorspace extensions that allow it to compress from/decompress to 32-bit and big-endian pixel buffers (RGBX, XBGR, etc.), as well as a full-featured Java interface.
3D Without Boundaries
VirtualGL redirects 3D commands from a Unix/Linux OpenGL application onto a server-side GPU and converts the rendered 3D images into a video stream with which remote clients can interact to view and control the 3D application in real time.
GTKWave is a fully featured GTK+ based wave viewer for Unix and Win32 which reads LXT, LXT2, VZT, FST, and GHW files as well as standard Verilog VCD/EVCD files and allows their viewing.

A patch to the GNU dd program, this version has several features intended for forensic acquisition of data. Highlights include hashing on-the-fly, split output files, pattern writing, a progress meter, and file verification. Latest base/Windows version available : https://sourceforge.net/projects/dc3dd/files/dc3dd/7.2.646/ Grab it with Cygwin 2.5, Cygwin terminal or the bare DLLS.
An open smart home project.
We utilize technologies such as web-based APP, 2.4G wireless data transceiver, STC micro-controller, various sensors (temperature/humidity/brightness/air pressure/PIR/etc.), to construct an integrated solution of modern home automation. The system provides features such as remotely control your home appliances, lights, etc. Also, various sensors are supported to sense your home environment, and act on real time status accordingly. For instance, if there are people home, and light is dark, the system will automatically turn on the lamps. Once people are gone, system will turn it off.
Email reader for RISC OS operating system.
Pluto is an email and newsgroup reader for the RISC OS operating system (see http://www.riscosopen.org/), developed by Jonathan Duddington from 1997 to 2004. It stores emails and news articles in Boxes, and they can be Listed, Viewed, Written, Spell checked, Replied to, Searched and even Spoken out loud! After Pluto was released under GPLv3 in 2013, it has had many improvements. Thanks to Jonathan, all the changed source is hosted here on SourceForge. Pluto runs on older ARM processors eg Risc PC & Iyonix, as well as newer ARM processors eg Raspberry Pi, Beagleboard, Pandaboard, ARMX6 and Titanium, under any version of RISC OS later than v3.10. From v3.16 the RISC OS version of eSpeak is not included in the Pluto download, but separately in the Files espeak directory. The espeak project itself is on http://espeak.sourceforge.net, but seems currently dormant. For fuller details of all updates since v3.06b, please see the Pluto Web Site on http://www.avisoft.f9.co.uk/pluto

a Small (Matlab/Octave) Toolbox for Kriging
The STK is a (not so) Small Toolbox for Kriging. Its primary focus in on the interpolation / regression technique known as kriging, which is very closely related to Splines and Radial Basis Functions, and can be interpreted as a non-parametric Bayesian method using a Gaussian Process (GP) prior. The STK also provides tools for the sequential and non-sequential design of experiments. Even though it is, currently, mostly geared towards the Design and Analysis of Computer Experiments (DACE), the STK can be useful for other applications areas (such as Geostatistics, Machine Learning, Non-parametric Regression, etc.).

BrazilFW is a mini Linux distribution designed to be used as a Firewall and Router that runs easily on older computers. An old PC running BrazilFW is much more powerful and efficient than commercial software for routing in offices and residences running on a "powerful" computer. BrazilFW is based on Coyote Linux, which was designed by Joshua Jackson who discontinued Coyote Linux in version 2.24 in August 2005. In that same month comes on the scene BrazilFW Firewall and Router (BFW) with version 2.24, which is led by "Claudio" and "Marcelo - Brazil", running only on floppy disks, and being 2.30.1 the last version with this support . The following versions, as well having automatic detection of network cards, only run on large capacity media, such as hard disk (HD). Versions in Development: * 2.33.x: Uses kernel 2.4.x and is developed by Marcinho Samurai. * 3.x: Uses kernel 4.x and is developed by WoshMan
