Educational Linux Distribution
Main goals: * Prepare operating system based on Linux kernel and free software for use at home from scratch by building sources. Binary packages/images are also available. * Each package is installed in separate directory, so you can use different versions of applications and libraries by design. * There is only one user 'kanapi' with root permissions, so you don't have to login, remember passwords, etc. * Simple configuration * Automatic compilation.

Extended C Library
Why Is libxc needed? There doesn't exist a library for ANSI C99 for common data containers, such as vectors, trees, etc. There also also doesn't exist a library for common functionality, such as error reporting/logging, string functions, configuration management (reading config files), etc... The programmer working in C doesn't have anything analogous to the Boost C++ library. The extended C library is intended to make some headway into providing this functionality. To ensure unrestricted usage the libxc project is provided under the very permissive BSD license. If you need a different license then please send me a request (lelanthran at gmail) and I'll do my best to satisfy your request. What's completed? As of writing, the following libraries have been written and tested: 1. Memory accounting/tracking 2. String operations 3. Vectors 4. Trees 5. Dictionary arrays 6. Configuration management See the wiki page for more information

You can import, plot and create tracks, routes and waypoints, show OSM, Bing Aerial and other maps, geotag images, see real-time GPS position (not in Windows), make maps using Mapnik (not in Windows), control items, etc. It is written in mostly in C (with some C++) & the GTK+2 toolkit.
C-level driver collection for MSP430 and derivatives
ocapi is an open source driver collection for MSP430 and derivative processors. It provides a C language application programming interface (API) for deploying individual processor capabilities. Current modules support serial communication via UART, I2C and SPI, digital I/O (GPIO), analog-to-digital conversion (ADC), Timers and so on. ocapi aims at being independent of the development host platform. So it should work, no matter if you live in the Windows, Linux or Mac world. ocapi is used as the hardware abstraction layer for the MSP430 port of the Takatuka Java virtual machine (JVM). Before it can be used, the library must be built from the sources provided here. The build environment allows for fine grained configuration of the library's functionality and target system.

Molecular dynamics by NMR data analysis
The software package 'relax' is designed for the study of molecular dynamics through the analysis of experimental NMR data. Organic molecules, proteins, RNA, DNA, sugars, and other biomolecules are all supported. It supports exponential curve fitting for the calculation of the R1 and R2 relaxation rates, calculation of the NOE, reduced spectral density mapping, the Lipari and Szabo model-free analysis, study of domain motions via the N-state model and frame order dynamics theories using anisotropic NMR parameters such as RDCs and PCSs, the investigation of stereochemistry in dynamic ensembles, and the analysis of relaxation dispersion data.
Wordom is a (simple) command line utility conceived to spare the user some time in manipulating, converting and analyzing molecular structure and molecular simulations files. Due to its simplicity, it is easy to add your own analysis module.
The FMI++ PowerFactory FMU Export Utility
The FMI++ PowerFactory FMU Export Utility is a stand-alone tool for exporting FMUs for Co-Simulation (FMI Version 1.0) from DIgSILENT PowerFactory models. It is open-source (BSD-like license) and freely available. It is based on code from the FMI++ library and the Boost C++ libraries. The FMI++ PowerFactory FMU Export Utility provides a Python script that creates FMUs from certain PowerFactory models, including the XML model description and shared libraries. Additional files (e.g., time series files) and start values for exported variables can be specified. Currently, two types of simulations are supported: In quasi-static steady-state simulations a power system’s evolution with respect to time is captured by a series of load flow snapshots. RMS simulations allow to calculate the time-dependent dynamics of electromechanical models, including control devices (new in version v0.6).
A framework for the development of intelligent systems.
QSMM, a recursive acronym for "QSMM State Machine Model", is a framework for learning finite automatons that perform goal-directed interaction with entities which exhibit deterministic or stochastic behavior. The learning process can be carried out in real time together with the interaction process. A basic building block for supporting state models of finite automatons is adaptive probabilistic mapping, which for an argument from its domain returns more often results that maximize or minimize values of one or more objective functions. Finite automatons can be represented by assembler programs with user-defined instructions that perform effective work. To assist in the learning of a finite automaton, a template for its state model can be provided as an assembler program with probabilistic jump instructions. The operating principle behind the framework resembles the Boltzmann machine.
OpenPR stands for Open Pattern Recognition project and is intended to be an open source library for algorithms of image processing, computer vision, natural language processing, pattern recognition, machine learning and the related fields.
High-performance read alignment, quantification and mutation discovery
The Subread software package is a tool kit for processing next-gen sequencing data. It includes Subread aligner, Subjunc exon-exon junction detector and featureCounts read summarization program. Subread aligner can be used to align both gDNA-seq and RNA-seq reads. Subjunc aligner was specified designed for the detection of exon-exon junction.
