Cool-down time calculator for multi-layers pipe
Cooldt calculate the cooling duration of a multi-layers pipe in a cold environment. The duration to reach the “Final fluid temperature” or cool-down time (CDT) is calculated by solving the heat equation in cylindrical coordinates with a flux conservative formulation.

The code in this repository is old and I don't like the sourceforge interface. Feel free to contact me about getting design files, code, a little help, etc. It demonstrates proportional, integral, and derivative controllers and their features as well as anti-windup and control loop update rate. It uses a DC motor controlled by an h-bridge and an optical quadrature encoder for feedback. It uses timers, counters, and interrupts to generate PWM to control the speed of the motor, encoder pulse counting, and control loop updates.
IQA is a C library for objectively measuring image/video quality. It implements many popular algorithms, such as MS-SSIM, MS-SSIM*, SIMM, MSE, and PSNR. It is designed to be fast, accurate, and reliable. All code is Valgrind-clean and unit tested.
Current Decoder can decode Baseline Jpeg Images (both single & multi scan images) only. The decoded gray scale/color jpeg image is written to a PGM/PPM file. A provision to view the image in a window is provided (for this you will need Open CV).

GPU/MIC accelerated radio interferometric calibration program
SAGECal is a very fast, memory efficient and GPU accelerated radio interferometric calibration program. It can handle all source models including points, Gaussians and Shapelets. It can calibrate along hundreds of directions without running out of memory in almost real time. Intel Xeon Phi acceleration is also available. Distributed calibration using MPI and consensus optimization is enabled. Also tools to build/restore sky models are included.

Computer Vision Framework Library (for Linux)
QCV is a Qt-based computer vision framework library that provides an easy to use interface to display, analyze and run computer vision algorithms. The library is provided with practical examples to show what you can do with just a few lines of code. OpenCV is used as the supporting computer vision library. QCV provides interfaces for C and C++. The C interface is a set of simple function calls to allow the user to visualize data and obtain events from the system and user input. The C++ interface has more features allowing the user to run and analyze complex computer vision algorithm in a few lines of code (see the stereo and surf examples). QCV offers a 2D visualization tool, an on-line on-the-fly parameter editor, a clock tool to evaluate computation times, and a control tool to manipulate input video and sequences of images. Multiple application examples that demonstrate the main features of this framework are provided in the last release. Check it out!
Compute parameters of the Bouc-Wen-Baber-Noori model of hysteresis
This toolbox computes the parameters of the Bouc–Wen–Baber–Noori hysteresis model using Multiobjective optimization evolutionary algorithms (MOBEAs). The toolbox uses the NSGA − II algorithm, which is an elitist non–dominated sorting EA. An Open-Source Library for Low-Power Approximate Computing Modules
The “lpACLib” library contains the VHDL description of accurate and approximate versions of several arithmetic modules (like adders and multiplier of different bit-widths) and accelerators. Moreover, it also provides the corresponding software behavioral models/implementations developed in C and MATLAB to enable quality characterization. Besides our novel designs, it also contains implementations for several state-of-the-art arithmetic modules and their approximate versions. This open-source library facilitates research and development in approximate computing at higher abstraction levels, and to facilitate reproducible research and comparisons. C-level driver collection for MSP430 and derivatives
ocapi is an open source driver collection for MSP430 and derivative processors. It provides a C language application programming interface (API) for deploying individual processor capabilities. Current modules support serial communication via UART, I2C and SPI, digital I/O (GPIO), analog-to-digital conversion (ADC), Timers and so on. ocapi aims at being independent of the development host platform. So it should work, no matter if you live in the Windows, Linux or Mac world. ocapi is used as the hardware abstraction layer for the MSP430 port of the Takatuka Java virtual machine (JVM). Before it can be used, the library must be built from the sources provided here. The build environment allows for fine grained configuration of the library's functionality and target system.
