PCEmu is a software-only PC emulator. It emulates an 8086-based machine with VGA text graphics, EMS memory, host file system access, and `hardware' debugging. It runs DOS and most programs correctly.
Apple Disk Transfer ProDOS (ADTPro) transfers classic 8-bit Apple disk images over a serial, ethernet or audio link to a more modern computer. Based on the seminal ADT, ADTPro can transfer any ProDOS- or SOS-visible volume.
An Atari ST emulator for Unix/X and SVGAlib (with ports to DOS and Win32).
Secure chat and conferencing protocol
See http://silcnet.org/ for detailed information. SILC provides common chat and conferencing services like private messages, instant messages, channels and groups, and video and audio conferencing. The main difference to other protocols is that SILC has been designed with security as its main feature. All packets and messages sent in SILC network are always encrypted. Private messages are encrypted end-to-end, channel message are encrypted with channel-wide secret key and secure file transfer is protected peer-to-peer.
CuteMouse is a DOS based mouse driver, fully written in assembly language. It's optimized for size (and speed) to allocate as small as possible amount of your precious 640KB RAM. It currently supports serial and PS/2 mice and, if BIOS support present an

OpenPFGW is software that is designed to perform PRP and primality tests on numbers of specific forms. This software currently run on any x86 hardware with the support of George Woltman's gwnum library, the same library behind GIMPS and Prime95.
UEFI GTP fdisk is a disk partitionning tool running under UEFI/BIOS
UEFI GPT fdisk is a port to UEFI of the famous GPT fdisk partitioning tool, see http://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/ . Now since this program runs directly under UEFI shell you don't need to *boot* the system to convert/edit partition tables.
The SoftPear Project aims to create IBM PC/Apple Macintosh compatibility software. Its goals include software to be able to A) run Darwin/PPC executables, including Mac OS X, its libraries and its applications, on Darwin/x86 (using emulation/dynamic reco
Written in pure ASM and Exode with cloud computing in mind.
Cloudium OS is being written in pure ASM. It's designed for speed and ease, having cloud computing in mind. It also is secure (without requiring constant user input like Windows). But, how are we going to do this? Well every os wants/says these kind of things, so to accomplish our goals we follow these simple rules: keep it simple (that's way better then these complex interfaces etc. almost nobody wants), generalize (this makes things easier and more useful without extra complexity) and be inventive (sometimes doing it the classical way just doesn't work). Note: development peace will be temporarily lowered until February the fifth. Please check out our OS and Project site!
The openwince project collects free (open source) software tools, modules, applications, drivers, and so on for Windows CE platform developers. Some of the modules are usable outside Windows CE development environment and are platform independent.
A disassembler for the linux platform. Currently this supports x86 ELF files assumed to be written in C and output to intel- syntax assembly language; however the design is modular and replacements for any of these can be written.
An easy to use Development Environment for OS developers to design, write, compile, test, and publish new or existing OS projects with ease.
FileSystem is an OPENSOURCE program for advanced disk management with built-in drivers for PATA IDE Hard Disks and DVD/CDROM Drives, USB Mass Storage Drivers. Implemented file systems : FAT32 / ISO9660 / EXT2. It can be compiled for DOS, LINUX, WIN32
WinSTon is an Atari ST emulator running under Windows. Many programs and games are emulated very well but especially demos still behave strangely.
Collection of tools for Atari/GEM platform. You can find more information on my web page.
MikeOS is a an open source 16-bit operating system for x86 PCs, written in assembly language, which boots from a floppy disk or CD-ROM. It is designed as a learning tool for x86 assembler and basic OS design.
amforth is an extendible interpreter on microcontrollers
amforth is an extendable command interpreter running on AVR ATmega and TI MSP430 microcontrollers. Turnkey actions for fully autonomous operations are possible as well. The command language is close to the Forth 2012 standard.
basE91 is an advanced method for encoding binary data as ASCII characters. It is similar to UUencode or base64, but is more efficient. The overhead produced by basE91 depends on the input data. It amounts at most to 23% and can range down to 14%.
Game software for emulating an EverQuest server
Cobalt ROM source code - x86 BIOS replacement for Cobalt hardware
Our mission is to explore and develop new operating system concepts; to redefine the architecture while using assembly language for most of the underlying architecture.
Powertweak-Linux is a port of the similarly named Microsoft Windows tool. It optimises your system to run at peek performance, by adjusting hardware settings, and config files. Work is underway in CVS to add features such as additional power management by
C-BIOS is an open source BIOS for MSX computers. C-BIOS can be shipped with MSX emulators so they are usable out-of-the-box. This project aims to improve C-BIOS by fixing incompatibilities with the MSX BIOS and the development of a Disk ROM.
64-BIt Operating System with Compiler
TempleOS is a 64-bit kernel with compiler, graphics library and tools. It is not a Unix. It was made from scratch.
