A Tibetan character is formed by stacking the middle (core) character with lower character stack(s) and upper stack. The tools in this package has been tested to work well in Windows 10 and above. The Java version is in the project titled Tibetan Java Keyboard. The MS Excel version does not work on Excel operating in MacOS. The Excel version uses Excel macros and VBA codes. One needs to Enable Macro to allow it to work. The motivation for this project is due to old proprietary Tibetan fonts not displaying properly on different systems. However, with the Tibetan unicode fonts being available and maturing in recent years, it makes documents typed in Tibetan unicode fonts readable on different operating systems. With the number of core characters, lower stack characters, upper stack characters and symbols in Tibetan language is difficult to be handle with traditional physical keyboard. A screen keyboard will make the creation of Tibetan characters more user friendly.

Тapper — keyboard layout switcher for X Window System and Wayland. Tapper runs in background, when an assigned key is tapped, Tapper activates the corresponding keyboard layout. "Tap" means that a single key is pressed and quickly released, so (1) no other keys are pressed at this time, and (2) period between pressing and releasing is shorter than keyboard repeat delay (usually it is 0.5 s, but it depends on desktop settings). Tapper key feature is using modifier keys for switching keyboard layouts without losing modifier's functionality. Tapper works for GNOME, GNOME Classic, Cinnamon, i3, KDE, LXDE, LXQt, Mate, Ubuntu, Xfce desktops. There are prebult RPM packages for Fedora, Mageia, OpenMandriva, openSUSE, source tarball for configure && make is also available. Tapper is free software.

The Old Turkic Orhun range was introduced with version 5.2.0 of the Unicode Standard, and is located in Plane 1 (the Supplementary Multilingual Plane). Windows XP and later versions support supplementary characters by default. In Windows 2000, you need to enable support for supplementary characters. These characters cannot easily be displayed in earlier versions of Windows.

Sometimes you want to setup switching keyboard layouts using X server -- because there is no DE plugin, or it's broken, or lacks needed functionality. You can easily configure X server to switch keyboard layouts, but I could not find way of keeping layout for each window separately using only X server. Hence this package. Tested under xfce4.

This is a fork of the Dactyl, a parameterized, split-hand, concave, columnar, ergonomic keyboard. The main change is that the thumb cluster was adapted from the ManuForm keyboard (geekhack). The walls were changed to just drop to the floor. The 3D printed part is the main keyboard. You can attach a bottom plate with screws. The case has holes for heat-set inserts designed to hold 3- to 6-mm long M3 screws. Then, I used wafer-head screws to connect a bottom plate. If wires aren't dangling, a bottom plate may not be needed. You need something on the bottom to keep the keyboard from sliding around. Without a plate, you could use a rubber pad, or you could dip the bottom of the keyboard in PlastiDip.
