KDE USB Automation - Add USB device notification and automatic set-up of storage devices to KDE & hotplug.

It is a shell script which updates your local KDE sources with svn/cvs/cvsup and does all needed steps to build and install KDE packages including qt(-copy) and kde-i18n.

A context menu item for KDE and Konqueror that automates adding Create New... menu entries from existing files. It adds a "Create Template" item to the Actions submenu of the context menu. It consists of a service menu .desktop file and a shell script.

KmPg2 is a graphical MPEG2 encoder frontend, for producing 100% DVD compatible MPEG2 streams from any input video. It uses the powerful video processing tools and the encoder from the MJPEGTools project. Adding subtitles and AC3 streamcopy are supported.

Krpm2info is a small shell script that can be used to display detailed informations about a RPM package file or extract its content. The current release is the adaptation to Dbus of a former Dcop relase by S. Demoncheaux. This tool displays in a Konqueor HTML page informations about a RPM package file such as properties, content, changelog, requirements ... It can also be used to extract the content of the file into a default directory (this is not installing a new package; just unpacking it to a given place). Note that it can only process files, not installed packages; and only RPM packages. The choice is made through a small initial dialog (Display details is the default). A tarball file (.bz2) and a source rpm for Mandriva & Mageia are available. Provided Makefile is used to install it (no build process is required).
