Smb4K is an advanced network neighborhood browser and Samba share mounting utility. It is based on the KDE Frameworks, Samba's client library (libsmbclient) and, optionally, the KDSoap WS-Discovery client. It scans your network neighborhood for all available workgroups, servers and shares and can mount all desired shares to your local file system. It is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License, version 2 (GPL v2+). Linux, FreeBSD and its derivatives as well as NetBSD are officially supported. -

SyncWall is quite a basic wallpaper changer with a special feature, it is the ability to synchronize wallpaper change between several workstations with a basic (and unsecured) client/server protocol. Each workstation must share the same pool of files, there is no FTP or Internet download. Because SyncWall is written with Qt, SyncWall runs on Windows and Linux (MacOSX isn't tested yet). -
