Call me a purist, but I was never happy with the graphs produced with existing (free) Java tools. My dream package is lightweight with minimal dependencies, offers clean vector-graphics export and TeX-support for typesetting mathematical elements in axis labels, chart legends etc. This is hard (impossible?) to find and I thus decided to construct my own, mostly from existing code. This project is based on refactored versions of the popular packages 'XChart' (orig. by Tim Molter, © Knowm Inc.) and 'JLatexMath' (part of the SciLab project, derived from the JMathTeX project). The OARS app is a data logger developed to run on Android OS and devices containing an internal GPS ,along with micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) chipset. Specifically the Invensence MPU-6000 or newer. This chip is a highly accurate inertial measurement unit, or (IMU). Contained within this small IMU is a 3-axis Accelerometer, 3-axis Gyro, and 3-axis Magnetometer. Along with a built in processor, it can calculate movements along 9-axis. Depending on platform and app setting, OARS can record sensor values at a rate up to 100hz, or 100 positions per second. This is a java wrapper around the old commons-http-client.3.1 HTTP client which not developed anymore. The wrapper is using the new HttpClient 4.x and keeps binary compatibility. The intention for developing this wrapper was using Axis 2 for accessing a Microsoft Exchange 2010 server which requires a NTLM2 authentication. Not all methods are implemented, but it works for me. Just remove the old commons-httpclient-3.1.jar and add http-client-3-wrapper to your project. -
