Your opinion matters! :-) MolMarker is user-friendly software to help evaluate the research results obtained by molecular markers. The software can handle genetic (e.g. SSR) and biochemical (e.g. isozyme) data, can construct similarity matrices and UPGMA or NJ dendograms. It can calculate the frequencies of null alleles in the case of genetic data as well as H (heterosigosity) and PIC (polymorphic Information Content) values. Parentage analyses gives a list of possible parent-offspring combinations, and likelihood ratio statistics corresponding to the detected combinations. For details see MolMarker Manual.pdf -

NGSEP (Next Generation Sequencing Experience Platform)
NGSEP is an integrated framework for analysis of short and long DNA high throughput sequencing reads. The current version provides functionalities for both de-novo and reference guided analysis of sequencing data, including genome assembly, read mapping, variants detection and genotyping and de-novo analysis of data generated from reduced representation protocols. NGSEP also provides modules for analysis of genomic variation databases (VCF files), including functional annotation, filtering, format conversion, comparison, clustering, imputation, introgression analysis and different kinds of statistics. Since version 4, we provide functionalities for management of genomes and transcriptomes, including genome alignment and annotation of transposable elements. xsd2pgschema is a Java application suite, which converts XML Schema 1.1 (hierarchical data model) to PostgreSQL DDL (relational data model) and supports XML data migration into PostgreSQL based on the XML Schema without defects on information content. It also supports full-text indexing via either Apache Lucene or Sphinx Search utilizing the relational data model. File conversion from XML to CSV, TSV, or JSON is possible as well as mapping XML Schema to JSON Schema. Obtained PostgreSQL database can be optimized at user's discretion. Moreover, differential update, and XPath query evaluation over PostgreSQL are possible. PgSchema server, serialized relational data model server, can be used to speed up the analysis of complex XML Schema. Large XML file can be split through xmlsplitter, a flexible XML splitter based on XPath and StAX. -

Hello everyone This tool is created for people who own a scanner with a document feeder which isn't able to scan duplex (both sides of a sheet in one scan). Note: This tool runs on all computer-platforms! :) Step by Step: 1. Scan all sheets frontsided to one PDF-file. 2. Without changing the sort of the sheets, turn the whole bunch of sheets and scan it again (all the backsides). It's important to scan the same amount of pages (even the empty ones), like before! Otherwise it won't work properly. 3. Start the "DuplexMerger". Add the path to the frontsided PDF into the first textfield, the path to the backsided PDF into the second textfield (you can also use the "browse" function). 4.
