This a NetBeans project developed to create a small Hexagon map library with a few basic functionalities. It is possible to measure distance between tiles's centres and calculate the best path between two of them (if any). It is possible to define tiles where it is not possible to pass (or reenabling them) by right clicking on them (they will become red), creating therefore obstacles that can help testing the path finding algorithm.

...The output can be specified to be printed on an A-format paper, portrait or landscape, top/right, center or bottom/left align. To use graphICs you need to download the JAR-file containing the program (no installation needed) and the MAP-file containing the color-information for the design (you can modify it or you create your own). converts proprietary .map chart files into bsb (.kap) chart files
map2bsb is a program that can convert charts in the map format to the more widely used bsb format. Note that there are plenty of map formats: basically each chart plotter (Ozi Explorer, Scannav, etc.) has its own. Note also that the bsb format does not support vectorial charts. Thus the vectorial map chart won't convert.
