Among the features provided and available, you can add dependencies, add xml layout, show and hide, etc. AVLoadingIndicatorView is very simple to use. You can also find iOS version of AVLoadingIndicatorView under the name "NVActivityIndicatorView". You can change all properties in Attributes inspector tab of Utilities panel.
