This has been written using Netbeans and the download contains the whole project folders. Note there is a complex server side setup. If you decide to enter a not recommend to this please give a reason as a blank comment tells nobody what is bad about it and therefore cannot be corrected. converts proprietary .map chart files into bsb (.kap) chart files
map2bsb is a program that can convert charts in the map format to the more widely used bsb format. Note that there are plenty of map formats: basically each chart plotter (Ozi Explorer, Scannav, etc.) has its own. Note also that the bsb format does not support vectorial charts. Thus the vectorial map chart won't convert. Currently in it's infancy, drop me a note about setting up for AS7. Because of the use of Spatial and Search, we use Hibernate 3.6.7. Since JBoss 7 ships with Hibernate 4, we have to setup a module to isolate this particular version of Hiberate. -
