TraceMAC is a command-line Layer 2 traceroute for Cisco switches
TraceMAC is a Windows/Linux command-line tool that allows you to trace a specific MAC address thru Cisco switches.
It works by connecting to a switch using SSH, SNMP, Telnet, HTTP or HTTPS and do some "show commands" and later process the output, this will happen recursively until it finds the switch where that MAC address (PC/Printer/Etc) is directly connected.
Various TCP/IP servers, clients and network management tools
...GUI tools include a network monitoring tool PMON, a SNMP and IP scanner.
The project aim is to make them as light weight tools that can be directly executed in command prompt without the need of installation. (Except pmon and UBridge to bridge PC's NIC which require Winpcap).
The whole package can be put into USB flash and 伴侶highly portable.
Target of this project is to code a network scanner which creates the nagios config automatically. Therefore the administrator starts the scanner with an ip address and the scanner results the open ports. nagioscanner provides a web based gui (cgi based)
