Poe is a lightweight scripting language. The language is written entirely in ANSI C, meaning that the language is ultra-portable (i.e. that it can exist on any platform for which there is a standard-conforming C compiler). Poe is a toy language that is not, and will never be, suitable for production use. However, writing the language was a fantastic academic exercise and the source code is available freely as a reference to anyone who may be interested. The entirety of the source code was written by me, Ricky Stewart, with the exception of the parser which is generated from Flex/Bison.

Calculators became available in the early 70's, soon after the integrates circuits, and several companies were competing with each other for a share of this market. Texas Instruments was one of the bigger companies producing calculators. With RCL it is possible to recreate the TI calculators, strating with the Ti59e, with 960 program steps and a persistant memory (a combination of the the Ti58C and the Ti59). RCL offers any person interested in the ancient ones in calculators (more specific: TI calculators) an option to have your old calculator under your control again. Research Description Language (RDL) is an XML application for describing and publishing scientific research efforts. Research Editor (REd) is a tool for editing RDL documents, and exporting them to LaTeX, PDF, etc.

Emulator of the ancient 8 bit microprocessor ISP-8A 500D/600D or more common "SC/MP" from National Semiconductor. The download contains all sources plus an executable Java Jar file to start right away. Some SC/MP hex dump examples are provided in directory "/etc" as well. The download also contains unit tests and some helping documentation (also in /etc). You may slow down the CPU operations, displaying the CPUs status register as LEDs, to watch the CPU working with its registers. The emulator also contains a VDU (video display unit) output / ASCII input simulation.
