The Secure Remote Log Monitor (SRLM) project provides client and server utilities that collect application or system log files from multiple systems over an untrusted network onto a central server for analysis and action.

Generates logs of typical formats that would often be found in a SOC. As of 31st January 2023, it supports IDS, Web Access and Endpoint log formats. Can generate a specific number of events in a linear fashion or use a waveform to add 'bumpiness' to your data. The code is modular and extensible, adding additional formats can be done with relative ease.

Security Monkey monitors AWS, GCP, OpenStack, and GitHub orgs for assets and their changes over time. Security Monkey monitors your AWS and GCP accounts for policy changes and alerts on insecure configurations. Support is available for OpenStack public and private clouds. Security Monkey can also watch and monitor your GitHub organizations, teams, and repositories. It provides a single UI to browse and search through all of your accounts, regions, and cloud services. The monkey remembers previous states and can show you exactly what changed, and when. Security Monkey can be extended with custom account types, custom watchers, custom auditors, and custom alerters. It works on CPython 2.7. It is known to work on Ubuntu Linux and OS X. Security Monkey accesses accounts to scan via credentials it is provided.

This is a Firewall and IDS front-end, the main purpose is simplify configuration of Iptables and Fwsnort and Psad management. The Firewall provides an experimental feature to decide in real-time about each outgoing connection.

A minimalistic, quick and simple (KISS simple) browser implemented in python using pywebkitgtk, pygtk and python 2.7.3. Do note that this project would use python 3.x, however the owner has no desire whatsoever to port webkit to python 3.x at this time. The goal of this project is to create a simple, fast and easily expandable (for now manually, later on with easy python addons). For now configuration will be done using text files and (in case of adding features) doing small modifications to the source code. The code will be extensively commented and written in a simple language (python) to allow easy modification. This means that some features that the author considers to be "bloated", like mouse gestures, long configurations, etc. will not be supported (but can be made by you). You host it yourself, so the data is yours. It works without cookies, so you don't need any intrusive cookie notices. It collects just enough data to be useful, but not enough to be creepy. It's open source and intended to be self-hosted. And you may even find the interface easy to use.
