A Work-In-Progress, Full-Featured, Open Source IRC Client
Kashyyyk is full featured, open source, cross platform IRC client. It was originally written to replace HexChat on OS X. At the time, HexChat (a fork of XChat) had only had a single release on OS X, which was still in alpha. Kashyyyk is extremely small, the binaries and related libraries totaling around half a megabyte. Based off of bandwidthd (http://sourceforge.net/projects/bandwidthd) but updated to support large networks (13,000+ devices). IPv6 support is in the works. Our thanks goes to the original authors of bandwidthd who made this possible. -

QuickSock
A simple C++ socket library used to make socket programming tolerable.

QuickSock currently relies on the WinSock library on Windows, (and as of April 2013, QuickSock uses BSD sockets on other platforms).
