A gui tool to adjust system date and time
PyDate is a very simple Python/Tk based tool to adjust the system date and time conveniently from an easy to use graphical interface. It is primarily intended to be used with minimal desktop environments like IceWm which don't provide such tools themselves. KDE or Gnome libraries are not required to run PyDate. -

This tool can install packages that are not in the Debian package archiv. Thats great for beginners and advanced users which dont want waste their time with searching and adding unofficial sources to sources.list. Get it @ http://pydpi.sourceforge.net

apt-checkpoint is a utility that can take point-in-time snapshots of a Debian system. These checkpoints can then be compared to the current system (diff) and used to downgrade (rollback) to a previously working system state.
