mkinitramfs & mkinitrd replacement and (eventually) alternate /init
...Underdog an alternate /init to create a "late" user context to resume control during shutdown to park media and detach network devices.
Currently there is a fully working initramfs (mkinitramfs/mkinitrd) replacement that is capable of building the early user context images both as separate files or built into the kernel image.
The working proof of concept code for the alternate /init is too messy to sahre just now. /doh.
If you build a root file system you often have to become root on your own host to call chown mknod and so on.
With ufile you can do that things for another machine in a save way without the need becoming root on your own host.
