An innovative Open Source CEP (Complex Event Processing) engine. It implements the event stream processing as a library embeddable in C++ and Perl. You can think of the Complex Event Processing engine as an in-memory database driven by triggers, or a data-flow machine, or a spreadsheet on steroids (and without the GUI part).

This application takes a so-called "Take-Out" ZIP file that has been downloaded from a SmartWatch and allows to analyse the health and other recorded data it contains. It allows to plot several data items and export specific data into CSV files for further use, e.g. with spreadsheet tools like Excel. It has been validated to work with Google and FitBit SmartWatches but will also work with similar data tracker archives.

To diagnose a problem or simply to study the internal flow of information in an ethercat fieldbus, one of the common practices is to capture the flow of ethercat datagrams with an ethernet sniffer such as Wireshark (www.wireshark.org). Wireshark provides some filters to facilitate data analysis but the high amount of recorded information still makes an analysis complicated for many people who do not have a very deep knowledge of the ethercat protocol and Wireshark tools. Ecang can help these people! Ecang extracts the list of the slaves managed and the PDOs exchanged in an ethercat network directly from the network configuration file (ENI file) .xml, thanks to this data it can read numerous information from the file generated by the sniffer (.pcapng) and transfers them to a comma-separated values ​​file (.csv) already applying a first level of validation.

BinCoMerge is a binary files diff at byte resolution. It shows hexadecimal and raw ASCII data. BinCoMerge is seeking for common blocks from the bigger ones to the lower ones. It works by levels of minimum block sizes which are powers of 2. For example, with a file sizing between 16 KiB and 32 KiB, Bincomerge will firstly seek for all common blocks bigger than 16 KiB. Then, it will seek for all common bigger than 8 KiB, then 4KiB, 2KiB, 1024 Bytes...

Ekstasis is currently a rapidly produced prototype version of a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) framework which seeks to provide signal/data processing modules which can be strung together via Boost library interprocess message queues.
