MIVF - Medical Imaging and Visualization Factory, is a framework for medical applications. It supplies a platform, in which image processing and 3D visualization algorithms can be employed as reusable components (functional modules or plugins).

Malimpa stands for MAtlab Library for IMage Processing and Analysis. It provides functions for 2D/3D grascale/color image creation, filtering, or measurement. It requires, and complements Matlab Image Processing Toolbox. Important notice: the project is now hosted in GitHub, https://github.com/dlegland/matImage

MDSTk is a collection of 2D/3D image processing tools aimed at medical images. It contains routines for volume data processing (3D filtering, segmentation, etc.) as well as fast low-level vector graphics library for surface and tetrahedral meshing. MDSTk has been forked by 3Dim Laboratory s.r.o. to provide better support and further push its development forward. OCL stands for Open Cezeri Library (yet another linear algebra and matrix library). This library provides rapid coding as matlab ease of use. It is originally developed at el-cezeri laboratory of Siirt University, in order to establish generic framework of reusable components and software tools for machine vision, machine learning, AI and robotic applications. Studies on accesing Leapmotion and Kinect is still under-development. 2- Machine learning: It uses Weka Software tool and some personel coded ML algorithms 3- CMatrix: Special matrix library called as CMatrix meaning Cezeri Maztrix Class. Actually it is regarded as the core of the OCL. CMatrix supports fluent interface and method chaining.

The RTToolbox was designed following object-oriented design principles and was implemented in the language C++. It supports the import of radiotherapy data (e.g. dose distributions and structure sets) from DICOM-RT format and other standard image processing formats by using a bridge to ITK. The RTToolbox supports the full range of radiotherapy evaluation. Tools such as DVH calculation, arithmetic operations on dose distributions and structure relationship analysis are provided as a basis for further calculations. Dose comparison indices such as Conformity Index (CI), Homogeneity Index (HI) and Conformation Number (CN), and biological models including TCP, NTCP, EUD and BED are determined from dose distributions and DVHs. WrapImaJ purposes to be a multi-platform wrapper for different Image Processing systems for: - using the Java programming language. The purpose of WrapImaJ is not to combine an exhaustive collection of all functionalities of different imaging system, but to offer a simple, concise Application Programming Interface (API) - allowing to develop imaging software, the source code of which is independent from the underlying imaging system on which it relies. In it's current form, it only wraps basic functionalities of ImageJ. The aim of this project is simplicity in use and development over absolute high performance, but most algorithms are designed to be efficient and make use of parallelism when available. It uses packages from the standard library whenever possible to reduce dependency use and development abstractions. All operations return image types from the standard library. Package convolution provides the functionality to create and apply a kernel to an image. Package effect provides the functionality to manipulate images to achieve various looks. Package histogram provides basic histogram types and functions to analyze RGBA images. Package paint provides functions to edit a group of pixels on an image. GeoSciPy is a set of C and Python functions that provide an API for all aspects of Geoscience and Remote Sensing Applications. Functions include reading/writing of many data formats, images, vectors, ..., and processing of images, vectors, ... including map projections, ... The library is written C, using HDF5 as the file format for storage of all remotely-sensed data and ancillary data, as well as processed data. The C functions assume a particular format for the HDF5 file contents, and provide functions for reading and writing data to such files. There is also a Python API that provides a procedural as well as an object-oriented interface to these functions. A Python GUI for interacting with such datasets is also part of the project. While there are other open-source GIS, and image-processing packages available, this one is designed to be comprehensive, work on 3 major platforms, user-extensible, fast, and able to handle huge datasets.
